Really looking forward to the video tutorials because I think they'll help quite a bit to better understand the software. BTW, is it possible to do a cutout of a carving similar to a 2d contour cut in Fusion 360? I'd like to cut the following out of the stock once the carving/engraving is done.

Was wondering how to rough out large areas with a larger end mill then do a finishing pass with a smaller one?

Any updates on this? I was able to get the message "horizontal toolpath done" when setting up milling operations but still can't see anything in simulation.

I put pixelcnc back in inches mode then reloaded the image and set the cut depth to .05 but still hanging when I hit apply in Ops config.

Hi,

Reloaded the saved project and changed the cut depth to .05 but the program hangs when I hit apply (not responding). Can see the status is stuck at generating horizontal milling operation. Log dump below.

Not able to see any toolpaths, geometry etc in simulation mode. Am I doing something wrong?

Tried the new version and so far so good. I'm able to generate meshes normally on the images that I've tried. Will let you know how it goes once I'm able to generate gcode.

Found the pixelcnc folder in appdata and deleted the log file but the program will not load any images. Below is the error and log file output.

I downloaded the newest version and am unable to load an image (nothing loads in the UI). I thought I'd try to delete the log file for the old version but can no longer find it under appdata. Any ideas?

My log file was 240mb when I checked so I deleted it and ran pixelcnc again to generate another. The new log is over 11mb and I'm not sure how to upload it here. Please advise.

Hi,

Can you let me know which parameters you need? Basically, the majority of the images that I try to load aren't able to generate a mesh. After loading the image, the generating mesh status displays and after a short while the program hangs with a "not responding" message. Since loading the image is the first step, I can't change the other parameters.  Attaching 1 of the images that causes the hanging.

I'm also having a similar problem with the app hanging after loading an image and trying to generate a mesh. The program becomes unresponsive after a minute or two and I have to kill it in task manager. I initially thought it was due to complex images but it also happens with some pretty simple images.
