Fair point. Truth be told, I built in logic to keep the music track turned off when launched from the editor. I guess I should have just left it toggled off. lol.

lol. Thanks. the funny comments were more from the tutorial not being cleaned up after I started adding the plot (such as it is) than it was from being planned that way, but I’m glad you enjoyed it.

yes, lost four days at the end due to other life happening. Just imagine it stretched out with more obstacles. One of these days I’ll get past the prototype phase….

Fun. Same control scheme as I used, but a vertical mirror.

I just spent the day looking for such a shader, and here is was all along! I’ll have to check it out.

Thanks for the feedback!

I need to sort out the tile-map interactions, overwriting the ground is not supposed to happen. Also, they update poorly sometimes leaving wonky tile edges. And good call on the falling snow, adding that to the to-do list..

Very difficult, Thanks!

Very much not finished. Thanks for looking!!

Yes, the og idea was to very the trucks, cargo and tracks for different challenges. I tried some heavy blocks and they just killed the truck. lol.
As they are right now, you have to carefully balance too much or too little as your truck may tip right over.

Thanks for the feedback!

Hey thanks!

Regarding the art, I’d probably make the dialog borders a bit tighter and thinner, they dominate the space. And the background isn’t supposed to be white with purple, but all one color. Plus I want to add a script to the dialog scene so I can just instantiate one and go.

The rest of the art would be more pixels, shading, subtle color variations, maybe a layer of dripping slime - you know - the usual stuff.

And finally the arms movement isn’t fully realized. It’s just what the physics does and it’s barely acceptable. Like he is supposed to flailing about when falling, but never got that far.

I’m impressed to see 3d for a jam. 8bitdo Controller worked fine. I’d love to see where it goes.

Nicely done. Loved the look of the game.

Nice simple implementation. The backwards curse gets me all the time.

Nice and original. I like the ? boxes and the written clues.

- I got as far as the engineer, but it was cut off at the bottom. I don't know if intentional, but I couldn't figure that one out.

Reminds me of Load Runner

Reminds me of load runner some. Neat game.

I win!

I like the simple character design and cuboid monsters!! I think you could take that art style into a full game.

Also the puzzle skill assembly was neat.

Oh my. Got me going there for a good minute.

Lol. Thanks man.

Once I zoomed the camera out when testing Just careening down the line too fast in shaky jalopy was fun and definitely would be in the game.

Thanks for taking time to provide feedback!

I like this. I got struck traveling but it was still fun.

Tricky as in bad or just difficult? It's meant to be a decent challenge, but not because of bad controls or poor implementation. It's meant to be "die a few times" to figure it out, although the load time is a bit slow once you've seen it.

Thanks!

That ending though...

Love the sound effects! I got to the orange sail and then got stuck, not sure if it was a bug or me, but I couldn't move after that.

(1 edit)

This was a lot of fun in spite of being so simple. Maybe have the targeting arrow turn color when there is no ammunition or out of range. Also a way to split the stack?

edit: also, love the name.

Neat. I can see this being very frantic game play with more items to fix. You could port this to some old-school consoles and it would fit right in.

One bug, If you lose and get back to the "press space to start" screen it just goes into the game over when you start.

Thanks. Ya, there were a lot of things that should have been more clear.

I was able to hatch the first egg. Some sort of progress indicator might be nice, then you'd feel like you were getting something done. As it it is now you just have to keep going and hope it's progressing.

Hello Gus!

Do you want the radio on or off? 'cause I'm not coming back in here again!

Nice. I'm impressed you got all the options up and running.

Neat. Like the graphics. Noticed the fire particles give out. I can see where this was going and would love to see more.

Thanks! I did add a walk through on the game page if you want. but the mechanics are not very clear.

It would be neat if you could see what you bought in your house.

"My coffee is as bad as my singing"

I like the warm / cold shaders. Could have used some indication on the fire/flare gun. Nice.

Nice. Love the music.

The controls were tight. Spot on.

Strangely addictive.
