Nice little experience, though it needs some more puzzles to be more gamey. The little animations for the moosehead and stockings and whatnot were a nice touch to make the area feel more alive and interactive.

Nails the theme, not much "game" around it but I personally don't mind that :)

Thanks for checking it out!

I like the vibe a lot as it becomes cozier and cozier. I also loved the sound effects, though they're a bit old but I still find them funny and relating to the old click and adventure games as well.

Also <3 dog

Hello Gus!

A wonderful and indeed cozy game!

Some notes:

  • The game "feedback" felt too delayed. It feels like ages to see how the game world reacts to your actions
  • It feels like there could be more object interaction apart from draggable socks and an enlarging deer head. In general, there could be more content that the player has to discover on his own.
  • Most of the music felt odd like it didn't fit. However, you picked some very nice tracks. Thanks for sharing the links to them, I saved them for myself!

Apart from that, thanks for making it!

Thanks for checking it out and thanks for the thoughtful feedback!

As for the "feedback" feel, I will say that my experience has varied depending on the browser I used, but did not experience any input delay when executing the game locally.

Otherwise, great suggestions and would've loved to include more content given additional time! Perhaps I'll update post jam.

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks to Dawk and Bakenshake for helping get my submission sorted out!

Note: Seems that it takes a really long time to load the game in the browser though. May be my internet connection, but might just be better off downloading the Windows or Linux executable. Guess I added too many large audio files to the game... lesson learned for the future!
