Sound effects, animations, and music are great. Chill game has potential.
haha this game is awesome! It makes me very happy when I catch a fish and the sound effects he makes are amazing! I loved it so much, great job! Weehee!
The game really made me smile, it's simple but feels really complete and thoughtful. You did a great job with the animation, it gives a cozy game vibe even though the setting is not that of a typical cozy game. The music was sweet and the "yipee" voice was adorable. I was also able to both cast and reel in with spacebar, which I thought was easier than clicking between space/mouse click like the instructions. Nice job!
Very simple game that made me smile (especially the yippee 😂). My only wish is that there was a punishment for trying to pull it in early, because right now you can just spam until you get a fish.
This game looks very nice and i like the chill fishing vibes! I would have liked if the fish weren't hooked for quite as long to add some difficulty. I did like your casting mechanic though. very fishy lol!
Congrats on finishing the jam! I giggled at the person chilling in the lava suit. I managed to catch a few fish looking at your instructions, but I would have liked some more feedback on why my cast failed. And maybe gamify the power meter like a small skill game or something like that. Good luck!
With one hour left before submission, it was something I did know that there was a lack of feedback as to why catch misses. I should have left the bobber to linger a couple of seconds to show that it did not land in the lava, but ran out of time to implement.
Thank you for your feedback, I am glad you enjoyed my twist on the no water limitation
I did not manage to understand how to play the game. It did not feel very intuitive.
