Pretty good job! here, I didn't love the sound, but overall good job with everything else, and it wasn't very long. Either way 3/5 !

Developer

Definitely, needed more content.

Thanks for playing.

I like the concept, but I would of loved to see more than one boss in the game. I also would of loved to have more enemy types to try out different attack styles. Although, your single boss is very well design.

Developer

Totally agree. I would have loved at least another boss and an extra enemy.

Thanks for playing.

I loved the idea of exchanging controls with the minions! Super fun and addicting. Ended up playing it multiple times. I think a quick tutorial or way of showing the exchange and why it helps the player would be super helpful since it took me a while to figure out. I had a bug where I died after exchanging to a minion and the game just froze.

Developer

I'm glad you enjoyed it. There were definitely some bug related issues, unfortunately.

I'm happy with the possession mechanic, I think it turned out well.

A tutorial is spot on. Defiantly needed one; I'm actually suprised how many people figured out the mechanic regardless.

Thanks for playing.

right sidebug

Good bug report, screenshots help a lot. The duplication/collision bug is a very pesky one.

Thanks for playing.

really cool game <3

Fun game, good effects, stylish pictures, I often die because of the boss's subordinates.

I'd also like to invite you to play my game if you're interested.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the feedback. Sure, I'll take a look at your game.

The concept is good, the boss is very simple and the game has bugs. I get a bug when you have 3 players in the room, a lot of guys and you don't take any damage.

Developer

Unfortunately, there definitely were a lot of bugs.

Thanks for playing though.

same bugs but a cool game <3

That was tough but very fun none the less, i loved the art style of the little enemies. and the attacks were well done! Great entry

Developer

Thanks. I'm happy you liked it.

Fun game! Although a bit too hard it was really fun and the exchange mechanic was really well implemented, it did take me a while to figure out since I had to guess the controls as i played

Balance is always something that's hard to get right, especially on a game jam game where most players are only going to play for a short duration. Anyways, thanks for playing. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

good pacing on this one ! great job!

The game has sooooo cool effects, it’s a treat for the eyes.

The mechanics of changing the body suited the gameplay quite well, but it didn’t seem convenient to shoot, it felt rather strange.

There is not enough driving music in the background.

But overall a very cool project. Even the menu when entering the game looks very good and stylish, let alone the rest of the game. Very STYLISH game.
Good luck with your next projects!

Developer

Thanks for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed the game. I'm quite pleased with the visual FX of the game, myself.

The "Tab" button tip is unreadeble most of the time and shooting on click and not hold is really sad(
Use of theme is really neat but only one boss does not allow you to enjoy the mechanics more. Interface and main menu are cool.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the feedback. I agree, instead of tab is should have been spacebar or right-mouse button or something a bit less awkward to press while trying to dodge projectiles.

I like the game idea of possessing enemies. The sfx and visuals are great too! Great job.

Thanks for playing. I'm happy you liked it.

This idea was super cool! I'd love to see it fleshed out with more bosses and enemy types to possess! Maybe even opportunities to possess bosses down the road?  GG

Developer(+1)

More enemies would definitely be cool. Boss possession does sound interesting. Anyways, thanks for playing.

I was hoping to see alot more games in this style for the game but this is the first one for me, love the gameplay of this one! I think the player could've really benefitted from having maybe 3-10 times more hp, the game is really hard and it seemed like getting hit once cost you half your hp, but it was super fun regardless. Only other thing I'd add would be the possibility to hold down mouse to keep shooting, and add more particles and screenshake for when you hit things and kill things, but it was a really fun game with clear and fun boss mechanics regardless.

Developer

Thanks so much for playing, Im glad you liked it. The health was somewhat low because you could (tab) to possess the enemies and get your health refilled. That being said, balance is always a challenging thing for game jams thats hard to get right. Ideally, I there'd be difficulty options.

Or at least a proper tutorial, lol.
