Nice tower defense, looking forward for more upgrades !

Developer

Thanks, hope to improve before releasing on mobile

Submitted

nice tower defends game, I can't wait to have more types of soliders and see if they can co-op together

Developer

Thanks, glad you liked it. Would be fun to add more characters although would have to either make the art myself from scratch or find a similar asset pack...

Art is not my strong point.

visuals and art were stellar. Like the tower defense idea. Pathfinding was a bit rough, but great for doing this in a week. like the different classes

Developer

Thanks and agree on the pathfinding.

Great work! It's very satisfying, and I love how cohesive your visuals are! I do agree about the UI--I honestly never left "shoot" mode, and that worked out for me. After the welcome screen I wasn't sure how to remind myself about how each mode performed.

Developer

Thanks for playing and for the kind words.

Yep, need to improve the UI.

If you make it far enough (wave 20+), the shoot option works pretty well if you spread out the troops a little.

Very nice combination of strategy and tower defense. However, pathfinding is not ideal, characters may obstruct each other path, even nothing interferes them going around another character

Developer

Thanks for playing. Yeah did not have time to build a pathfinding element, at first the enemy blocked the way too but that was too frustrating so limited it just to similar kinds. Hopefully I will build this out in the future.

Really cool concept. Has tower defense vibes. I would love to see this fleshed out. As others have mentioned the UI aspect could be improved. I think some hotkeys could have went a long way towards that. Select unit -> UI comes up (maybe larger and more towards the center bottom) -> 1,2,3,4,5 or Q,W,E,R,T to select the various commands.

Developer

Thanks for playing and glad you liked the concept, as for the UI and keys, my intent is to make this a mobile game (or rather part of game), so trying to stick to mouse/touch only. Could make the location/size better though.

I really liked it: the sound effects, the graphics and in general all the gameplay is very well done. One thing is that i would put the player UI a little higher. Ah another thing you did a pretty good job with the settings

Thanks for playing and glad you liked it. Yep others agree with UI too - after the jam I will see how I can improve.

Nice graphics. Nice audio. Good concept.

I'm not a fan of the UI. The attack icons could have been bigger, closer to the characters, and had some tooltips.

Maybe a radial menu that pops out above the character's head would work better?

Thanks for playing and glad you liked most of the game. Good idea on the UI but might be hard to implement, not sure if you saw it but you can actually select multiple units not that it is very useful though.

Edit: Oh I did make the "help" page last minute not sure how helpful it was though, as always time limited me to making a proper walkthrough /  in game guide

Level 1 confused me a bit, but I got the hang of it soon enough. Cool game overall!

Developer

Thanks for playing and glad you enjoyed it and hope the learning curve was not too difficult.
