Fun and creepy experience ^^ It was tricky for me to figure out where I was going and If I was moving at all sometimes. maybe seeing the edge of the road and reference point would be nice. Very nice sound <3

Thank you for trying out our project ! We're really glad that you like the sound, we tried to keep it as our main goal to drive the player with sound. Atmosphere was a key. Thank you for the feedback, we thought about the light points to help player with guidance but for the balance we ended up leaving player to the darkness.
One of you is missing! This one got my heartrate up. Nice horror effect and use of theme to achieve it. Really effective. Just follow the path, they said; you'll all be fine, they said. I like it, even though it's going to haunt my dreams.
I liked the unique take on the theme and I don't think I have seen a game that uses the diminishing light directions like that. I finally managed to make it to the parking lot and only lost one of us. I thought the flash light should have lasted a little longer and a maybe have some sort of point of reference as you moved or did not move - I think I got stuck in the trees but could not really tell. Maybe that is a good thing for survival horror though,
I did like the scary monster thing and how you slowly lost your team.
Thanks for submitting
Very atmospheric, the audio really adds something extra, not just an afterthought, nicely done. Didn't realise at first that the mouse rotated, my first thought was that it would be nice to have a rotate option :-)
Nicely done!
Spooky stuff! I really liked how your in-game lives were represented by how many characters were taken (kind of morbid but a fun little detail). I jump easily, so the first enemy definitely scared me and made me close all my tabs. One bit of critique, I had no clue where I was going. Even with the path, it just didn't feel like "the right way to go". Eventually, I just willpowered myself in a random direction and found the safe zone. Fun jam game anyway!
Thank you for review. Looking at all the comments the issue is the same for everyone. Too bad that my "beta tester" also said that but I was to tight on schedule to come up with something that wouldn't be just simple lights and I would be able to put it in quickly. Now when I read all the comments and think about this issue, maybe something like fog shader with no fog where the path is would work fine. Just another lesson learned to listen to your "testers" :D Thanks again
A pretty unique idea, I love the style and the atmosphere of the game. Well done!
This is an exercise in which you learn where to go and how to survive before everyone...disappears...yes...that's the word we'll use.
For those struggling, here's the strat: you can vaguely see where to go in the dark, so you only need the flashlight to fend off the monster. Don't continuously shine it, just blink it. If your flashlight is overloaded while the monster is on screen, it's game over.
A solid entry, and you'll grow as you continue to jam.
Super spooky! It was genuinely scary when I lost one of my friends from the lights burning out and then it was just two of us. :O
Got a little bored towards the end though, since nothing was really changing or presenting any new challenges, and it felt like the path was just going on forever, I thought maybe I took a wrong turn and was looped back around? Maybe that added to the horror element of feeling lost in the woods. Anyway, I still made it to the parking lot!! RIP to my two buddies though. You really nailed the horror genre. Great job on this!
Very fun little horror game. when i got only 1 guy left i was just trying to run for my live . Nice mechanic for the flashlight. Only thing was that it was difficult to know where to go in the beggining , but i guess it add to the scary factor XD!
Really nice ambience of a dark and spooky forest and a great flashlight mechanic, however maybe the flashlight could a be a bit less unforgiving (larger area/longer duration)?. Other than that its a well made scary little game!
