It was a Scenario, and one that I had never seen before, the thing I needed to click. I will not be clicking it again. It looked like a little vertical tube with a light at the top, floating. Really small.

It probably spawned two teams back to back before the battle began (shouldn't happen (probably a bug))

(+1)

Yeah, that's what I figured.

The first four appeared and ran into fighting position only to run into the next four. Usually they are separated by a rock, pillar or whatever it was that I clicked on.

(+1)

Thought of another name or two which hasn't been taken as far as I can tell.

Mancer

or

'Mancer

There are loads of games called _____mancer, but none just called mancer, with or without the apostrophe.

It would also allow for an endgame boss called Mancer or something-mancer.

Even an acronym like

Minions

And

Non

Corporeal

Entities

Risen

I was even trying to think of TBD acronyms:

The Battle Dimension

They Became Deities

Tactical Ballistic Demons

OK. I'm over thinking.this now.

I have the first two Sanctum skies - Blue and Moons - but I keep getting offered the blue one again as a reward even though I can't select it. I am never offered the third. I have three grounds, two of every item that can go on top of furniture and three of some, and one of each of three furnitures.

Also, I know that I am always talking about hammers, but are you sure that you didn't do something to make them stop spawning when you made them work in Expansion? Before that update, I got four hammers in two or three days, since the update I have had none.

(1 edit)

I'll check on both of those (Sky objects and hammers)

(1 edit)

For the hammers, have you only received them from Expedition?

(+1)

The first I got was from Outerworld. The next four were from Expedition. I think I got one more from Outerworld after that.

two of every item that can go on top of furniture and three of some, and one of each of three furnitures.

So furniture rates need to be more balanced with the furniture accessories rates?

(+1)

Yes. It seems that the picture for the wall and the furniture are only offered once, like the 2nd sky and the 2nd and 3rd ground. But the objects to be placed on the furniture are repeated.

How often do you fight bosses? Looks like furniture is only going to drop in the Chaotic/Colossal Boss battles.

(+1)

Not as often as the other ones, but I do fight them.

I will do a few more Colossal though as I do them the least.

I've added furniture more extensively throughout the rewards (Will be active when the next update drops).

I have the first two Sanctum skies - Blue and Moons - but I keep getting offered the blue one again as a reward even though I can't select it. I am never offered the third.

Double-checked this and it all seems to be set-up correctly (set-up just like ground is). Perhaps I'll add a new sky option soon and we can see what happens then.

but I keep getting offered the blue one again as a reward even though I can't select it

Found the issue pertaining to not being able to select the sky reward, should be fixed next update. Thanks!

(+1)

Not being able to select it is right, I already have it. I shouldn't be offered it again. Unlike furniture or accessories, there is zero use for multiples of sky or ground.

Yeah, that shouldn't happen, not sure how to reproduce it.

I cleared all of my sky rewards and tested getting them and there's no repetition. (Thinking face)

One more little thing to do with characters being removed from the soul rooms.

The character Doomblaster keeps getting removed. I have put him back three times now and he keeps getting thrown out after a few Outerworld levels. I am not using him on either team, nor am I using any character in a soul room on a team.

It seems like certain characters have weird glitches like Sorawind's running and shield dodging and Doomblaster's Soul Room eviction.

Alright, thanks. I'll investigate the Soul Room eviction. As for Sorawind I already confirmed that her animations are set-up the same as her other elemental versions, so that one might be tricky to pin down.

(+1)

Just an observation, not a complaint.

Now that my VPN seems to work, I'll try to put together a series of screenshots every time there is an oddity in the game. Explanations are well and good, but visual proof might be more useful.

(+1)

That'd be great help. Thanks docnutnut!

(+1)

Also, there's no need to worry about feeling like you're complaining. I'd like to patch up all of those complaints over time. It may not be immediate, but we'll get there.

That social hall / bar / nightclub idea I had could equally work as an extra upgrade on the Soul Creator.

Percentage chance of at least one summoned soul being the highest level available.

The downside with this is that it may lower the chance of summoning a high level soul until this is levelled up a bit.

I had another idea regarding the Soul Creator. Have the summoned souls arranged in order of level, left to right, high to low. Although it does let you get to know each character slightly when you need to click on them all, it would be nice if I could click on them until I hit my personal low limit for what I want on my team. There are some exceptions, like Combo______. I only have Comboflame unlocked so far, but he is great. I know that as more of the high level characters are unlocked, their level will become less relevant...

...which makes my idea moot. Oh well, it was a nice idea before my brain stepped in and ruined it.

(1 edit)

I hear you, so a quality of life change. Would this be an unlockable upgrade or outright?

Comboflame has been one of my favorite souls for a long time!

(+1)

I hear you, so a quality of life change. Would this be an unlockable upgrade or outright?

No idea. Your call.

I have realised why I have such an issue with getting the characters I want. When I started playing I only had a few unlocked characters, now I have 231. Makes sense that my favourite 2% aren't on offer all the time.

Also, I have been wondering if it is possible to have the same character on both Outerworld and Expansion teams at the same time.

And the Elemental Auras page seems a bit sparse. Any plans on secondary auras or auras for when you have four members of the same element, or even two? Even an elemental aura skill tree so that the player can build a stronger aura for each element, choosing to focus on one element or improving them all equally. You could introduce a new currency for this, either one-currency-fits-all or one-currency-per-element.

The last thing I wonder is why on earth it costs so much to increase the number of spots to open eggs. It is the least needed thing as we all have plenty of spare pets. Especially considering that by the time anyone is willing to spend 50K creds on an extra spot, players will probably have 20 of each pet spare. Even 5K is too much. Personally I wouldn't even spend 500 on a spare place. Well, maybe if I was in a completionism mood I would.

OK. Not the last thing I wonder, that would be awful. Sinking into a silent stupor for the rest of time. The last thing for now.

This should be possible.

Yeah, the idea I'm trying to promote is working with what you have and testing its potential. Otherwise, it won't matter how many characters are in the game if only the top 4 are picked.

However, I do think the ability to have increased summoning chances for your top picks overall would be a potentially good idea. Could push this even further and have a set of characters that have evolution states (visually and ability wise) and specific storylines to reach "Champion Status". If so, I'd like to start off with a small pool of characters that can do this (Sort of like the starter pokemon you can choose from at the beginning of the game). If that works, then I'd work on adding more overtime.

And the Elemental Auras page seems a bit sparse. Any plans on secondary auras or auras for when you have four members of the same element, or even two? Indeed, it is. I've been approaching development with a horizontal priority. By this I mean that, as soon as I set up a system, such as auras, I move on to set up other systems. Eventually I'll go back and then scale vertically (for example, add 30 more auras).

"It is the least needed thing". This is where we must figure out what should cost a lot and what shouldn't. For example, having soul slots cost too much, too early, can be too discouraging for newer players. However, as you already mentioned, these lower priority upgrades have more room for higher costs. This also provides something to work towards over time (longer-term goals).

Longer term there might be companion evolutions where you need to combine grade 1 companions to get to grade 2, and grade 2’s to get to grade 3, at that point, having more slots would be important.

A few pics. Second one is a bit pointless though!

Oh wow, this is great! Thank you!

P.S. I'm liking your dark-themed base ^^.

Do you remember if Doomblaster was the latest added Soul?

(I'm wondering if there isn't enough time to save everything when leaving the layout)
