but I keep getting offered the blue one again as a reward even though I can't select it
Found the issue pertaining to not being able to select the sky reward, should be fixed next update. Thanks!
One more little thing to do with characters being removed from the soul rooms.
The character Doomblaster keeps getting removed. I have put him back three times now and he keeps getting thrown out after a few Outerworld levels. I am not using him on either team, nor am I using any character in a soul room on a team.
It seems like certain characters have weird glitches like Sorawind's running and shield dodging and Doomblaster's Soul Room eviction.
That social hall / bar / nightclub idea I had could equally work as an extra upgrade on the Soul Creator.
Percentage chance of at least one summoned soul being the highest level available.
The downside with this is that it may lower the chance of summoning a high level soul until this is levelled up a bit.
I had another idea regarding the Soul Creator. Have the summoned souls arranged in order of level, left to right, high to low. Although it does let you get to know each character slightly when you need to click on them all, it would be nice if I could click on them until I hit my personal low limit for what I want on my team. There are some exceptions, like Combo______. I only have Comboflame unlocked so far, but he is great. I know that as more of the high level characters are unlocked, their level will become less relevant...
...which makes my idea moot. Oh well, it was a nice idea before my brain stepped in and ruined it.
I hear you, so a quality of life change. Would this be an unlockable upgrade or outright?
No idea. Your call.
I have realised why I have such an issue with getting the characters I want. When I started playing I only had a few unlocked characters, now I have 231. Makes sense that my favourite 2% aren't on offer all the time.
Also, I have been wondering if it is possible to have the same character on both Outerworld and Expansion teams at the same time.
And the Elemental Auras page seems a bit sparse. Any plans on secondary auras or auras for when you have four members of the same element, or even two? Even an elemental aura skill tree so that the player can build a stronger aura for each element, choosing to focus on one element or improving them all equally. You could introduce a new currency for this, either one-currency-fits-all or one-currency-per-element.
The last thing I wonder is why on earth it costs so much to increase the number of spots to open eggs. It is the least needed thing as we all have plenty of spare pets. Especially considering that by the time anyone is willing to spend 50K creds on an extra spot, players will probably have 20 of each pet spare. Even 5K is too much. Personally I wouldn't even spend 500 on a spare place. Well, maybe if I was in a completionism mood I would.
OK. Not the last thing I wonder, that would be awful. Sinking into a silent stupor for the rest of time. The last thing for now.

This should be possible.

Yeah, the idea I'm trying to promote is working with what you have and testing its potential. Otherwise, it won't matter how many characters are in the game if only the top 4 are picked.
However, I do think the ability to have increased summoning chances for your top picks overall would be a potentially good idea. Could push this even further and have a set of characters that have evolution states (visually and ability wise) and specific storylines to reach "Champion Status". If so, I'd like to start off with a small pool of characters that can do this (Sort of like the starter pokemon you can choose from at the beginning of the game). If that works, then I'd work on adding more overtime.

Indeed, it is. I've been approaching development with a horizontal priority. By this I mean that, as soon as I set up a system, such as auras, I move on to set up other systems. Eventually I'll go back and then scale vertically (for example, add 30 more auras).

"It is the least needed thing". This is where we must figure out what should cost a lot and what shouldn't. For example, having soul slots cost too much, too early, can be too discouraging for newer players. However, as you already mentioned, these lower priority upgrades have more room for higher costs. This also provides something to work towards over time (longer-term goals).
Longer term there might be companion evolutions where you need to combine grade 1 companions to get to grade 2, and grade 2’s to get to grade 3, at that point, having more slots would be important.
I had a theory about it being the souls that are too big for the soul rooms, so I filled every room with all the tallest souls.
They are all still there, including Doomblaster and his brothers. First, last and all in between remain. I don't remember if he was the last the first time, but he was definitely last every other time except this time.
Wide made no difference.
I am trying tall again with one wide and two tiny.
'Collision.' That's the term I wanted. It is such a major factor in bugs and glitches in SO many games.
I remember finding all sorts of collision bugs testing Die Hard Trilogy on the Playstation 1. Most of them made it into the finished game.
