Thanks so much HumanHardDrive1. Our arr guy creates the landscapes in HD 4096x1024 usually and then we downscale them to pixel art from there. The policestation and motel he did vertically though so we could pan down them for effect.

This was so, very fun! The twist at the end, after going through all the scares and everything, was done so well and I enjoyed it all. Loved the aesthetics and look of the game and it was super fun to play! Can't wait to play Part 2 and good luck on future projects!
The game's fairly solid and I like the twist ending. (Even though to be fair, it was fairly obvious just on the title in hindsight.) Great job though. I'll be playing act 2 soon. So keep it up.

This was such a great point 'n click short horror experience - pixel artwork was impressive and it had a neat little twist at the end.
I applaud you for being able to create this in just five days - I think you have the beginnings of a real interesting story here, dealing with various themes of identity and 80's style slasher horror. Maybe it's something about checking into a motel late at night but I think it's a sub-genre that doesn't get enough love.
Would have loved to see more of the Point Motel and its residents - if you have any plans for expanding this story I'd like to know! I thought the section when the character goes into the maintenance hole was going to be a stealth section - but found out later why not!
The only thing that would make this even more immersive would be some puzzle mechanics thrown in to give the gameplay a little more longevity - maybe even an inventory system where items can be crafted to get out of tricky scenarios.

This was a fun game! Loved the story and how quick and to the point it was. Wasn't expecting the twist at the end! Totally caught me off guard! Not sure if this will get expanded any more but if so I'll be playing!

I never imagined a point & click game could be this immersive and seductive. Add some nice twists and turns to the mix and you've got a great game. I read/saw another youtuber ran into a bug, but personally I didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so thank you for making this game and kudos to all involved!
Ran into a small bug with the police car scene but otherwise great stuff! Good as-is as something short but I could also definitely see it as the beginning to quite the "adventure". 😅
Hi Mana. Am pretty sure I have patched this in the latest version, can’t believe I missed that bug. Luckily I don’t think too many people found it during the jam. Thanks for reporting it, and for playing. Will continue the Adventure in the near future :)

Just in-case for reference I believe I was playing the latest version. The readme.txt says 1.0.2 if that helps. 👍 And looking forward to it!
