Samyam's short horror game plunges you into a chilling scenario: trapped in a dimly lit room where a relentless threat lurks in the shadows.

Your mission is simple yet fraught with peril: find the ten hidden objects before time runs out, all while dodging the murderous intent of a little girl armed with a knife.

Every creak of the floorboards, every flicker of your fading flashlight heightens the tension as you frantically search for clues and supplies. The batteries scattered around offer a fleeting lifeline, a precious few moments of illumination in the suffocating darkness.

Each decision carries weight, as one wrong move could lead to a swift and gruesome end.

Can you keep your nerves steady and escape this nightmarish trap, or will fear consume you in the darkness and hark in your demise?

Really <3 this game. Well done!

Niven Hedinger has yet struck again, and unleashed a new horror game on Ichi.io's playfield of terror.

The Game: You play as David, and your new new job certainly comes with its fair share of intrigue and mystery. The task seems straightforward at first—transferring data on old floppy disks—but it quickly becomes apparent that there's more to this job than meets the eye.

The setting with a heavily locked door and a chilling discovery of a dead body adds an eerie layer to the already suspenseful atmosphere. It's like stepping into a classic horror story, where every step forward brings a mix of curiosity and apprehension.

And as tempting as it may be to delve into that classified folder, David might want to think twice with such ominous signs surrounding it. Who knows what secrets lie within, waiting to be uncovered?

It's almost like we're wandering through a technological haunted house, where the ghosts of outdated technology and hidden secrets make for a thrilling experience.

The game has 3 endings. I got ending 2.

Wonderful game, but the flashlight kept dying on me twice rendering the game un-playable, so I gave up. No idea how this game ends.

'Nightmare Delivery' delivers quite a bone-chilling experience, especially when one keeps in mind that a seemingly mundane job turns quite quickly into a nightmarish ordeal.

Playing as Novan, players are thrust into a terrifying situation while just trying to make a living. The encounter with two mysterious men adds another layer of intrigue and danger. It all boils down to finding a strategy to simply survive. The idea of hiding somewhere in a house adds to the suspense, as players must navigate dark and eerie environments while avoiding detection, making every ordinary decision crucial for his/her survival.

ZestosYt DEV, has crafted an immersive horror game that blends mundane reality, as you and I know it, with a sense of nail-biting terror, and turns a rather simple game, into a gripping experience for players who enjoy intense and suspenseful gameplay.

The concept of 'Nightmare Delivery' offers a unique twist on the horror genre, turning a routine task of delivering goodies into a fight for survival against unknown forces, sure to keep players on the edge of their seats throughout the gameplay and beyond.

I didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to all involved, and thanks for making this very enjoyable game!

Niven Hedinger's short horror game "Passerby" turns out to be a gripping experience, where the DEV weaves together elements of horror, survival, and exploration into a compact yet intense narrative. The premise of navigating an abandoned town as the protagonist Nathan, a lone traveler, throws the unsuspected player into a sense of immediate isolation and vulnerability, setting the stage for a suspenseful journey.

The usual attention to detail in Niven's game design, from atmospheric soundscapes to post-apocalyptic visuals and creepy sounds, enhances the immersive nature of "Passerby."

On a side note, it's intriguing that there's only one ending, suggesting a linear but impactful story progression that kept this player engaged from start to finish. Without a beat, this is the perfect bite-sized horror adventure for fans of the genre.

Well done, Niven!

I didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to either you or all involved, and thanks for making this very enjoyable game!

The storyline of Luna Apps' horror game sounds intriguing and, at a first glance, very simple! The combination of a meteorite crash, mysterious deaths of unseen people, and the player's task of containing the threat ASAP, adds a layer of suspense and immediate urgency to this very enjoyable game.

The gameplay mechanics themselves, such as mining the meteorite and decontaminating yourself after each visit, seem well thought out to create a tense and immersive gaming experience.

It's impressive that this was created for The DreadXP Extraterrestrial Terror Jam., showcasing creativity within constraints of time.

I didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to all involved, and thanks for making this very enjoyable game!

Stagefreights's horror game "Confined" is an exhilarating dive into the chilling realm of survival horror, where every second counts and fear lurks in every shadow and around every corner.

The tension mounts as you're thrust into a race against time, trapped in a kidnapper's grimy basement with only your wits to guide you. The loaded atmosphere, coupled with the heart-pounding soundtrack of approaching danger, keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout.

With clammy fingers and sweat dripping down your brow, you frantically keep looking for clues and answers to get the hell out of this claustrophobic inducing basement.

Because of its clever puzzle mechanics and nail-biting narrative, "Confined" delivers a pulse-pounding experience that will leave you both terrified and exhilarated.

The concept of Xytrah Studios' short horror game demo revolving around Tom Heaver, an 18-year-old grappling with fragmented memories and his father's mysterious disappearance, offers a compelling narrative hook into a world normally hidden from the likes of you and me.

Logically, the psychological aspect of memory loss adds depth to Tom's character, as players like you and me, will empathize with his struggle to uncover the truth about his past.

Moving into the apartment serves as a catalyst for Tom's journey into his childhood memories, setting the stage for a chilling exploration of what lies beneath the surface of his forgotten experiences.

Doors open to a new world, one where the unexpected is the norm and insanity rules the waves of normalcy.

I didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to all involved, and thanks for making this game! I had a ton of fun playing it.

When playing the short horror game 'Ground Floor' the developer Nap Time Games doesn't allow you to keep your eyes off the stairs. You have to move forward to go downward. There's a bottom, but no line. There's an end, but no beginning. When you hit rock bottom, there's a crib.

In the short horror game 'Affected' Developer Matvey Denisov drags the unsuspected player from his safe seat in front of a computer screen, right into the fields of a place called 'Somewhere,' in the middle of nowhere. It is this dreary setting, that the player has to move forward through fields an shrubbery to find strands of a story of his past and future. Submerged in a otherworldly feeling of dread and anxiety, one cannot do anything, but take step after step and unravel a story with an rather awful ending.

With 'Analog Sammelot' Vidas Games gives you a lot of choices. Multiple choices while at it. Do you choose wisely or do you go wild? Does it matter? Is this part of a psychological Rorschach test to find out what you think you see is true or not or everything in life is  just a perception?

As you can see in this simple description, already so many questions and no answers...

With the game 'Flat 13' Floart immerses the player into the darkness of an abandoned apartment, that once belonged to a deceased family member, a grandfather. The only thing the player has to do, is enter the building, find the flat and retrieve a family album. But you are not alone in there. Can you find a way out and return to safety? Only two ways to find out: 1) Buy the game and play it yourself 2) Watch any of the clips on this page.

I didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to all involved, and thanks for making this game!

@ Shepard of Sheep,

Great. Thanks!

I also bugged out of this game. When I loaded a box of ammo [into the pistol] I ended up with 15 bullets. When I clicked on the 2nd ammo box to see if this pistol came perhaps with an extended clip, the box simply disappeared and I still had only those 15 bullets.  I got stuck several times, but that has to do with my clumsiness playing over the shoulder games LOL! Like others said, if you have time and iron out the bugs here and there, you'll end up with a great game!

"A Missing Salesman" is a chilling dive into the complexities of schizophrenia, where players unravel a haunting tale of a dead salesman and the grim revelation of the culprit's suicide.

Developed by mckruasan, this PSX/PS1 short horror game may appear deceptively straightforward initially, yet its true depth lies in the layers of its haunting narrative.

The game's tense atmosphere, punctuated by jarring sounds, immerses players in a psychological thriller that demands careful exploration and attention to each minute detail, to grasp the profound meaning of this little gem.

The game's atmosphere, punctuated by subtle but effective scares, keeps players on edge as they try to decipher clues and uncover the secrets that hold the key to this essential escape. But will the player succeed, while terror of the unknown lurks around every single corner they turn...?

They say that eyes are windows to a person's soul. Then I ask you: how about doors?

It is believed that doors can represent the journey or process of understanding someone on a deeper level. Opening doors requires effort, patience, and empathy, much like getting to know someone's true essence involves investing time and emotional energy.

Is that why I survived this game...?

A lot happened in a very short time. I didn't expect it, but the game delivered it anyhow. Well done. A weird game, but weird in its own right.

I didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags, so kudos to all involved, and thanks for making this game!

Hey Dan,

Motivation explained why I want to go beyond 'Awesome Game' descriptions: It has been a while since I posted something here. Of course, I have excuses, but they don't really count. Anyway, I've decided to turn my comments on games into a sort of sale's pitch, when I like the game, in the hope to encourage people to either watch, play or buy the game. @ https://www.youtube.com/@DanielRich_KingofCool/community

Yes, I do write stuff. Here's one example @ https://why-wait-until-tomorrow.jimdosite.com/stories/

Cheers,
