A platformer that flips the script ๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ”„.

GAMEPLAY
Nice concept for the game jam theme. Did need some getting used to the controls because it is basically your normally controls reversed๐Ÿ˜…. But after getting the hang of it I managed to progress better and further. Was a bit a harsh game because I died a lot. Maybe because of my lack of skills haha. Hit boxes were triggered when I did not expected it and for example the bird is coming in fast the first time so you are died before you know it is an enemy๐Ÿ˜….  Despite the challenges, the game remains engaging!

ART STYLE / VISUALS
The 8-bit graphics create a retro atmosphere that pairs well with the game's platforming nature. The visuals remain coherent throughout, adding to the nostalgic vibe of the game.

AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The 8-bit music complements the game's visual style, creating a cohesive retro aesthetic. The tunes enhance the gameplay experience, syncing well with the platforming action.

THEME
Theme was touched with moving ground instead of character. Check!

Nice game jam entry for out jam. Keep up the good work for the next one๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ‘!

Oh, that was hard. Reversing the controls really messed with me haha. I found the collision boxes to not quite match the actors it felt like so I  had a hard time timing my jumps. But the concept was fun, thank you for this!

the game looks great and its a really cool game idea but the camera is kinda clanky

A pretty good game with great graphics, but it seems there's a loop or something causing my Firefox browser to hang, and I had to close it. I believe a bit of optimization would be great. Good game and mechanics though! :D

Really cool game and I think the closest to feeling like 'Broken Physics' that I've played so far! Would be great if the levels and gameplay had a bit more polish but that doesn't take away at all from having fun playing it. Also it can be helpful to have the credits of what assets were used somewhere in the jam page instead of just at the end of the game for transparency but didn't effect my rating at all. Would be cool to play some more levels and very cool entry : D

Good game, gameplay didn't feel bad after you grasp some concepts, despite the fact that controls are inverted and some mechanics are really counter intuitive.

You can also find more feedback on the game's page.

Good job on it :D

The idea was really cool! even if sometimes slightly unfair... but it just took some getting used to before i could finish the game :)

All is inverted, That's an interesting idea!. Great graphics.

That's an original idea! Neat graphics. It could be easier though, I had a hard time!

Haha it's very fun to control the environement instead of your player! Very creative way to play with the theme! I had to tell myself I was playing with reversed controls to actually beat the game. Good job! You could try my game if you have time!

I thought this was a really cute idea! I eventually had to just convince my brain I was playing a platformer with a reversed control debuff or something to be able to remember what I was doing. I liked the experimenting with different heights you did towards the end, would be cool to see how else you could expand on the idea. I did think it was not super intuitive that in a game about controlling the earth the birds moved right along with it instead of flying in a straight path.
