The game fits the theme because the mysterious artifact breaks the games physics. Also the artifact floats, which kinda counts.

Nice concept!
I liked the game feel and gameplay too, I really think you should add coyote time to jumps tough cause sometimes I lose my double jump when I surpass the edge of the platforms.
At a certain point I got stuck on the ground (for holding the artifact for too long), and had to restart the game though, maybe you could restart it automatically when something like this happens.
Anyways, the game was nice, also with nice graphics and sound effects, good job on this :D
The character movement felt really smooth, so the platforming challenge was really nice!!! I would have loved to get more of the story during the cutscene with the wizard! The purple thingy's role was a little bit unclear for me and I just did all the plaforming witout it, before pressing k at the last chekpoint and tryharded the last bit with it lol. Overall super great game!

GAMEPLAY
Navigating through the levels is enjoyable, with responsive controls making the game accessible. The gravity object is the theme, though its purpose could be clearer with more in-game instructions next time please. I did not realy use it. The double-jump feature is fun and easy to use.
ART STYLE / VISUALS
Nice coherent pixel art style. Liked the god rays for example. Character was cute馃槃!
AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
The 8-bit sound complements the pixel art style, creating a retro ambiance that feels fitting for the game.
THEME
The theme of broken physics is lightly touched upon with the gravity object. However, a deeper exploration of this theme could have added an extra layer to the game.
All in all, the game is a nice little platformer with potential for more depth. Keep this going馃挭

It crashed on me in the desert (?)/second section, I never figured out how to make the gravity anomaly thing actually help me but assumed I should carry it all the way so I did. Appreciated the snappy respawn and the movement, while a little floaty, was decently paced. I think the player character is super cute!
That was fun, I do wish there was some glide on the controls, but otherwise, I was platforming away. No idea what the purple thing was for, other than pushing me out of the map haha.
