The game is superpolished and can be easily turned into a steam game, but i think the theme is added very superficially. Btw I really enjoyed the game.
I'm sad to hear that you thought the theme was superficially implemented, I wanted to combine the optional geometry theme with the "3... 2.. 1." main theme. And the dots used between numbers inspired me so I thought we could be shooting vertices in 3, 2, 1 sequence to form geometric shapes with different effects. Vertex is the fundamental building block of any geometric shape so 3 vertices (dots) forms a triangle, 2 vertices (dots) forms a line and a single vertex (dot) creates a void. It's good that you enjoyed the game tho!

Really creative use of the geometric shape theme with the gun and the count down, I like how instead of using the basic dash you have a jump instead.
Good enemy variation too
All in all a really solid good looking and sounding piece of work.

So nice to hear you thought the difficulty was fair btw. I was afraid it might be too difficult but when we play tested it with friends everyone were able beat it at least a time :D
Holy what a game, I love the idea of having the game be apart of the itch.io page, plus the visuals and effects are really pleasing. I also really enjoy the chaotic gameplay, classic arcade vibes all around. 10/10 from me

Art and the idea are really awesome! It's really fun too! I just wish the shooty guys didn't shoot a gazillion bullets when they arrive :D It is a little too difficult for a jam game I think, but a really good game nonetheless! Well done!

I like the art very much!!! The arcady style and the CRT-TV-style effects gave me a lot of nostalgia vibes. The Game Concept is pretty polished and playing it feels quite good. But by reducing the lives to one, it feels near to impossible to come far. The idea of using Bullets as Kill-Gates was also a nice touch.
You were in luck that you were a great team, whilst I was creating my game all by myself...
Hey thanks for the comment! I didn't understand what you meant by "But by reducing the lies to one" did you mean "lives" or "lines" either way I'm confused :D. But hey the secret is attending to many jams as possible and meet new people!

Yeah you have only one life but have 3 hit points in total and the blue line (Line of Recovery) heals you up to max health when you walk over it. Also the triangles can be used as a shield since they're bullet proof. One more tip is you can also jump outside the frame and stay there for 3 secs. There are many different strategies you can use to beat the game. Like shooting your Void ability outside the frame to pull them away. It takes a while to get the hang of all the mechanics and beat the game.

This game is just - incredible. Everything clicks, gameplays is hard but fair and i like how your own weapon can be used against you, it really makes your brain running as you must sometimes dodge both enemies and your own bullets to not find yourself cornered. Art-style is definitely fiting for this game too. Overall very polished game.
