Description
The genre of this soundtrack is Folk and Indie. It was inspired by Death Stranding and Life Is Strange OSTs. I used Ableton and few synths, a guitar, a ukulele and my voice. There are very few tracks as I didn't want to layer the instruments too much to keep lofi vibes and a serene feeling through the whole soundtrack.
The first track is the beginning of the game and the discovering of a new world, probably in ruins.
These ruins gently go to the second track (Walking Around) representing the desolation of time passing.
The journey passes by nature (World Tour) and the things that are frozen in time, meaning it hasn't the notion of time, time passes but it doesn't have any incidence on the fact that nature will be nature, whether time passes or not.
After the kind of void with the previous track, there is the rediscovering of the beauty of nature (Rediscover) and its greatness.
The game ends with the last track (Voyage End) all the encounters made before disappears with time but it is not the end, only the end of the journey. There will be other encounters and other adventures coming.
As I'm a poor game designer, I can only say that a game like Journey, Death Stranding are great examples of time passing and exploring the mechanics of travelling. I was inspired by Life Is Strange but not for its way of playing with time.

Message from the artist:
There are a few tracks to be in a game that could be called Timelapse where the player has to travel through the time passing and its fatal beauty. The Folk and Indie vibes are to keep the journey relaxing and focus on time passing, not on music or even nice landscapes.
This is a bit solemn, you can just enjoy the tracks :)

This sounds to me like it was written to be heard with environmental sounds, surrounded by nature. The sound of the wind sweeping through the fields and tree branches, birds chirping across the pond, gentle water streams... This soundtrack conjures this type of peaceful tranquility in my mind. Easily one of my favorite entries so far.

Good ost, amazing sounds and quality, but for me your tracks are too repetitive

Great soundtrack! I like the guitar a lot!

LIFE IS STRANGE YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

Wow, your playing was fantastic and your vocals were also beautiful. "Timelapse" has got to be my favorite with more melancholic musical ideas. I can definitely Max Caulfield listening to this in her earbuds on the bus!

Every track was beautifully made, oh my gosh. I felt so much at peace while listening to this. The instruments are blended together perfectly and it all just makes an amazing atmosphere. Totally can imagine this as a film score as well. This was great!!!

This is so beautifully written! Your playing is so expressive and your voice so dreamy, this gave me goosebumps. Amazing entry!

I like your relaxing, ambiant composing style. Loved the parts where your voice blends in the music, adds a charming texture.

Amazing! The guitar, the vocals, the synths, the vibes, it's all just perfect! I'm not the biggest folk expert, but this sounds like it could be a from a critically acclaimed folk master!

I love your guitar playing, and how you incorporated it (and ukulele) into every track.

I love your voice, and I wish I could've heard even more of it, maybe even you singing...?

I love the production, so minimal, yet so hard hitting, and very professional!

I love how you developed these guitar and piano loops into 2-4 minute tracks, and still didn't let it become boring or tiring!

Overall, incredible work, extremely underrated (quite literally, i wish more people would rate this and get to enjoy this), and i can see this easily winning top 5, if not 1st place.

Oooh, nice, didn’t expect the very first entry I listen to to be a folk entry! Some lovely guitar playing and the vocals sound very nice, too. Definitely very atmospheric. I feel like some of the tracks could have been a little shorter while bringing the same point across, but overall, I love the concept behind this.

very nice and peaceful. the guitar throughout the ost makes it feel consistent and gives it a more intimate vibe like its not a big grand adventure and more of a contemplative journey

This took me by surprise - the athmospheric guitar building up from a "simple" start and the use of the voice both as an instrument and a choir fits perfect. Would love to have  game with this music - awesome job!

What I love: the echoed guitar, the overdubbed vocals, the gulls (I noticed several folks unearthed a nautical theme in their jam entries, I wish I'd got the memo so I could have included some squeezebox or hurdygurdy or something in my entry)

You made the decision to make every instrument count, and I'm really glad you did. There's a real literacy here and a strong sense of voice that only happens because you didn't muddy the waters with too much soundfloor. Superb.

This OST is a great example of a time based theme without the use of a clock. It has a sense of melancholy and contemplation, and listening to it really makes me think of things in the past, and how time continuously moves on despite what happens in our lives. Also love how you utilize the voice parts in your song, very soothing. Well done overall.
