How does your game fit the theme?
The evil scientist is about to give the military robots their biggest role yet: kill everyone and take over the world. A slight tactical miscalculation sends the signal to a different robot, and a little vacuum cleaner takes on the role of wiping out humanity.

If I have one word for this game it's.... polish. Like damn. 👁️👁️

An intro? Good tutorial? Nice effects and consistent art style? Zoom in on death? It feels like you had the concept down and you tried to make it as enjoyable as possible! Controlling the vacuum with the mouse feels very intuitive. Super easy to point it in a direction and slice through enemies. 👏

A great game overall. Congrats! 😁

Really liked the intro and the game premise is hilarious, good job! Upgrading my knife with an axe was unexpected and pleasing. It also changes your approach to killing enemies, which adds variety.

In my opinion what this is lacking is the trajectory line, that would show how far you will travel. Just like in golf games - you get the hit strength meter (which you have) and a visible line of where will the ball travel. That would certainly help with planning your movement, because at times i miscalculated my trajectory and was forced to see my roomba slide helplessly.

We appreciate the feedback I'm thinking about making a post-jam patch with some more weapons, tragectory lines and some balancing changes

Good work! I like how chaotic the game can get as you're bouncing around the room swinging wildly at enemies. I think in the future I would personally like to see more game feel when hitting enemies, but that's about all I can add.

Thanks for the feedback! I really enjoyed your game

Really nice work on the art direction for the project, as well as the gameplay part, was fun to roll around slashing left and right! Really reminds me of Hotline Miami. Although perhaps giving player a few more movement abilities, like being able to stop mid-way, can make the gameplay overall more fun and easier to control, because sometimes rolling anywhere, but to the place you wanted to is annoying. Other than that, game was really enjoyable!

Awesome presentation! I really liked the intro cinematic. One bit of criticism I had is that you get all these knives and swords and other bladed weaponry for your robot vacuum, but it never at any point felt to me that I was able to kill the enemies any faster or more efficiently. So even when I had 3 weapons and should be feeling pretty deadly, I could not really appreciate any difference in my character's actual ability to kill.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! We made an odd last minute decision to have damage inversely proportional to the number of knives which took away from the unbalanced power trip we were looking for. Regretting it now...

Love that you turn into a Beyblade. I never really tried to use the hiding spots though

the idea is cool and the gameplay is fun but the art doesnt fit well together, other than that pretty nice game.

Nice gameplay loop! I really enjoyed the different "weapon" you can equipe! Nice job for a 48h project! Nice pixel art too <3!
