GRIM REAPER PLS I HAVE TO PEE

Good idea. But I think you need to add some feedback for actions.

That is such a cool take on the theme! and I like it more than Sims^^
I would still love if some of the interactions had more than one use - I understand that socializing isn't always fun but it can be and I would not get much energy out of my bed if it wasn't comfortable

Playing with these values might lead to more strategic gameplay.

Maybe when you stand on top of something the need(s) that is being replenished is highlighted? Also, in one of my runs Mr. Gen fell below the platform between the stairs and the green microwave. Nice game!

Developer

Thank you for the kind comment. After the jam I will update and hopefully find the platform bug ^^;

Lovely little boomer action / little computer people / manic miner mashup!

Would have been even better with some sound and maybe a slightly lower pace of attribute degradation.

This was really fun! I really like the way death starts coming for you, and if you can save yourself it turns away, he almost looks disappointed :)

Very cool. This is one of my favourite ideas to come out of this jam so far.

It's like it came from a world where The Sims came out on NES.

Oh my god, I was just going back to some of my favourite jam games including this one and my comment about Sims on NES just  made me cringe after realizing how you described it as The Sims on the Spectrum. Hah, looks like you provided the intended experience after all!

That was pretty awesome! Wish they had something like that back in the day. Little Computer People was the best we got. haha One thing I would suggest is changing the UI so the words aren't covered by cobwebs. I couldn't read the top bar which I assume was hunger. Also maybe slow down the counters because as soon as I went to sleep death came from the Hunger and Bladder (which I thought said Ladder since the first part is in the bricks) dropping to zero as soon as I hopped on the bed. Great game overall and would love to see you do more with it.

Developer

Thank you for the useful feedback. I  am glad you liked it despite the flaws. :)

I wonder if WebGL games appear differently in different browsers/OSs. I haven't seen the UI elements covered by Cobwebs, but  I will look into it after the Jam.

The counters need more tweaking. Thanks. Ill look into that too. :)

That could be. This was my first successful WebGL build so it's still new for me. This is what it looked like on my end but I thought it was an awesome game.

Developer

Thanks for the screen shot. It helps a lot!

Yeah, the UI is all small and stuck in the corner on yours. Ill look into that.

Thanks for the support!

Here is how it looks for me.

Gigaelk, cool little game you have put together here. I enjoyed the concept of having to try to keep your little dude alive and kicking! Missing a little sound and music though only thing i can ding you on this one.
