Pretty fun game overall. The final stage was a bit to high of a difficulty bump. And there should be a way to restart the game. Otherwise pretty fun.

Great pixel art, with an interesting story and setting! I liked the misdirection with the lever in order to create multiple waves in a single room. One minor complaint is that the screen moving with the mouse was a little motion-sickness inducing. But overall, great work!

Thank you very much for all the nice words! I can see how the camera could be a little nauseating :s as it is quite up close and sensitive. If I do a post-jam update I'll definitely pay attention to that. Thanks for the feedback!

The game is cool, it is short but it offers a fun challenge, it took me some retries to eventually manage to defeat the last wave of enemies, the difficulty of this last one felt pretty well adjusted, I like that.

Thanks for sharing.

Props to you for beating the game! The final wave was a bit rushed (it was quite a bit too easy in earlier iterations) and I couldn't really manage the difficulty curve very well, so I might have to tone it down a little bit in a post-jam update, but it's very nice to hear you liked it! Thanks a ton!

The art in this game is excellent and I really enjoyed the setting. Shooting was fun too. I kind of wish the text windows were a little transparent because they took up a big chunk of the screen, but overall it was cool

It's nice to hear you enjoyed the game! Fixing stuff like the text screens was definitely overlooked due to time limitations, but I might look into a post-jam update to patch that up. Thanks for the feedback!

I like the visual style of the game and the fact that you got a story in really added to the experience! For me the camera following felt a little bit awkward, could be because of the close camera. But I also enjoyed the fact that I didn't see everything going on outside of the camera view. It crashed for me too when I died, but I had a fun time playing it! Nice submission!

Developer

Thank you so much for checking it out! I'm glad you liked the story, I hoped it helped evoke the spectacle feeling that is somewhat inherent to bullet hell games and that was also reflected in the music. And yeah, the game definitely had several flaws, I might update it sometime after the jam if I find the time for it. Thank you for the feedback :)

the game is pretty cool I liked the art work and sounds but the camera angle is too close and the game freezed when I died

Developer

Thanks for playing! The camera was a bit of a struggle between having nice gameplay and having the smaller pixel art not fade away in a larger scene, so I can totally see where you're coming from. Thank you for the feedback!

Fun top down shooter ^^

I really liked the pixel art, and for a jam game there’s some good enemy variety as well.

I couldn’t reach the end as i kept running out of oxygen during the boss though, i feel it could be nice if the oxygen stations would recharge more often than only after an enemy wave is cleared, cause when there are a lot of them it’s hard to clear them fast enough when managing the weapon’s energy level as well.

Small nitpick also is that the textbox tends to obstruct the view at times, so i would be cool to have it a bit more transparent instead of full opacity.

Now other than that it was really fun to play, the WASD/Mouse combo controls are great and i like the “find the switch” puzzle, cause i’m sure if you expand upon this you could have some interesting door puzzles.

Well done :)

I'm glad you liked it! Playtesting was a bit hastily done due to poor time management on my part, so many such details fell through, but it's nice to hear the general notion is still positive :) thanks a lot for checking it out!

There doesn’t appear to be a way to restart the game. The pixel art is wonderful, the concept of environmental puzzles and bullet arenas is a good one. Thank you for sharing this with us. 💙

Thank you so much for playing through it and for your feedback! Time became a bit of a problem near the end (hence the filename :'), for example) so UX like restarting and menus kind of fell through, but I'm very glad you liked it :)
