I'm a huge fan of these late shift worker horror games. Gas stations, laundromats, Video stores, burger joints, what ever, I love em. This one was really well executed. Great story and kept me on edge the entire time :) I look forward to seeing more for your games in the future.
This was cool! I liked the way everything played except for the fact that you have to go through the entire game again to get another ending. But besides that I really enjoyed it!
Very fun short horror game. Pacing was fantastic and kept me in suspense the ENTIRE game. Ending was a little lacklustre but otherwise everything was amazing!
Great little game here...until the ending. The pacing was well done, the dread and paranoia that grows as you play is something that cannot be ignored. BUT! It all comes crashing down when you get to that ending. You get to the great big "choice" that results in a black screen with text, regardless of what you choose. Then the game just ends, just like that. It was a steaming pile of shite on top of a beautiful strawberry sundae. Nevertheless, because I refuse to claim the game is bad off of that alone, I am going to stick this with a 6/10. I still recommend it, but just know that it does NOT pay off.
As for my personal experience, this game had an amazing pacing. The controls of the camera and the movement were super smooth and responsive. The story grew more and more unsettling, all around a creepy atmosphere. I also really appreciate that the main character was not dumb like in many other horror games. I do however think that the game ended rather abruptly, all that story build-up left me wanting for more than that. Still, this game had me on the edge of my seat.
Personally, I find the story very generic and conventional. Now, the mechanics of going from home to work (and vice versa) over and over again became very repetitive for me. Likewise, I think that the game is unnecessarily long (much longer than it should be), which is why I got bored on more than one occasion. As for the ending, I think it was completely disappointing. The game isn't that bad, but it could have been much better.
This game was a great experience, the sad part is that I got stuck in it with the radio playing TWICE. So I sadly could not continue the game :(. It's at the start of the video! :D
This was as fun as Timberlodge! It was pretty spooky and well made! The actual sounds and environment was pretty scary and spooky! As well as the fear of something happening, was well done!
That being said, I did feel like there were a lot of down parts to the game; where I felt like the environment wasn't used fully to its potential as no actual scares of spooks happened with the character in any of the actual environments they walk around in.
Also the killer taping everything and leaving it in the store was a bit of a stretch as there was no reason why they would do that (or that's how it felt to me). Also we don't get to know the character that we play more for the last decision to really make an emotional impact. The character is silent most of the time and doesn't say much other than what the player chooses.
As well as the 'Society being bad' part of the VHS wasn't really explored outside of the VHS', so that too didn't feel like it fit the story much.
Those of course are just my opinions and thoughts, others might feel different. I still thought that your game was really fun and was spooky! Good luck on future projects and hope to see more!
Was A Great experience and terrifying atmosphere just feeling like the ending was a bit abrupt and the game could have used a bit of gore or atleast a drop of blood but I do hope to see more games from you in the future !! Keep Up The Great Work !!

This game was pretty fun but that ending really had me feeling like it was a waste of time

10/10 game with a very creepy atmosphere. Recommended to all players looking for a short horror game experience, the story is great!
