like the spring bouncing you higher didn't notice it as first and was using the blood splatter jump thing and losing hearts and was like okay this is not the way to do this. So easy to get tossed off the screen on the the left and right though.  Nice little beat the lava to the top game.

Thank you very much for playing!

I'm glad you figured out better ways to go through the level as you played more of the game! I guess it has a steep learning curve, but I'm happy went ahead and got through it!

Love the springs n stuff but the game is kinda frustrating with the lack of checkpoints

Developer

Thank you very much for playing!

The difficulty leans a bit more to the harder side, I agree. But I guess the small level length and the short gameplay time make it a bit less frustrating to lose your progress. Hope you enjoyed it aside from that!

I liked that the springs bounced you higher each time, the buildup of momentum felt fun.

Developer

Thank you very much for playing!

I wanted to fiddle a bit more with the game's physics and all that, but in the end I think it turned out pretty fun as well!

Very difficult for me, lol, but it was a lot of fun to play. This felt like a very polished experience overall with the smooth animations and chunky sound effects!

I always try to make the sure the game feels good to play! I believe I could have tweaked some things here and there, but overall I think it turned out really nice in the end!

New rage game unlocked. I liked the aesthetic, and the mechanics are really cool. Just very hard lol.

Developer

Thank you very much for playing!

The game ended up a little bit harder than I initially had aimed for, but I do think it provides a nice challenge overall!

Good game, the concept is simple and fit the theme / limitation well. I found the game a bit difficult but its only my opinion.

Developer

Thank you very much for playing!

I believe some parts of the level are challenging for sure and it may take a couple of tries to get past them, but I'm glad you liked it!

I'm really glad you liked the artstyle! I tried to do something simple and minimalist so that I had enough time to create all the assets I wanted, but I'm really happy with the final result!

A very good combination of constraints and themes.but it seemed to me that the control of the character was inconvenient, it was too smooth.Otherwise, everything is fine.

I wish I could've tweaked the physics a little more to make it feel better, but I didn't want to miss the deadline. Maybe I will come back to this project in the future!

Really nice game!

I got a bit in a hurry thinking the blood meter would constantly rise :D

But after I figured out that you had plenty of time and the boucers would increase in jump force, it got really fun!

I'm really glad you enjoyed the game after getting used to it! It does have a bit of a learning curve, but it gets a bit easier once you get the hang of it I think!

You just had to put a bunch of blades above the door at the end, didn't you. I was so excited the first time I saw that door, and yep... overjumped it. Dead.

Really fun concept. I'll definitely be coming back for more.  Loved the way you implemented the mechanic of being able to jump, but at the cost of health (used a similar mechanic in my submission). You definitely *feel* the decision in your game, which makes for some compelling gameplay.

One bit of feedback... It felt at times that the amount the springs launched me was random, and other times it felt my next jump would be increased from my previous jump's height

First of all, I'm really sorry about the ceiling blades, I bet it wasn't a very pleasant surprise haha
And thanks for the feedback! I also wish I had a little more time to tweak the overall physics, but I wished to submit the game before the deadline and ended up not making all the changes I could've done. Maybe I will come back to this project in the future!
