Yes it is, and is a lot of fun to play, you got me laughing at Mimas running animation xDD
Sprites, music, even the introduction, every single thing in this game makes me smile.

This game is cute and colorful and plenty of fun.  Mima has a ton of character, both from her little into and from her sprite animations.

However, that made the jumpscare all the more jarring. Punishing the player for finding an easter egg is kind of rude.

It was meant to be a creepy easter egg, like something spooky hidden away you shouldn't have found. Im a sucker for creepy easter eggs in seemingly innocent games, but i think i made it too easy to find on complete accident, and alot of people didnt like it. If i do include anything like this, i'll add more build up (to give players a chance to turn back), and hide it better, so its less likely to be found.

Meme-a Megalavegala

This was fun~ Tbh I think it actually could've used a smaller lifebar and maybe some checkpoints, since the platforming challenges felt pretty thought-out and were all something unique and weird, but you were able to tank through them pretty easily. But anyway this was super tongue-in-cheek and fun, so great entry to a game jam!

also Mima having little runny looney tunes legs is amazing.

i wanted to add some super deep and super creepy secret, but i didnt have the time so i went for the easy spook (im suprised so many people are finding the easter egg this easily. I tried to make it not too hidden)

As others have said, this is a surprisingly solid platformer. I am really upset when platformers have cheap hitboxes and floaty controls, but Mima handled really well and had really cute animations too. Also, it's freakin' Mima coming back.

For real tho, not bad.  The game feel could've used some work, (Short hops, feedback for getting hit, etc.), and I would've liked some checkpoints.  It was frustrating starting the entire level over after getting pretty far.  The music was great though.  I really enjoyed this game.

well, this was my first ever attempt at making a game. You could see the duct tape holding it all together. I'll definately keep checkpoints in mind for next time though, i just didnt think it was worth putting in for a one level game.

For a first game jam entry, its fairly solid. Animations are lovely and it's a tight platformer. Art direction seemed a bit all over the place, though I'm honestly not sure if that was the intention or not since I haven't actually played the PC-98 games.

the easter eggs play into life and death too. You found the death one. Pressing P will turn Mima into an original character from a much bigger game i hope to make years from now, essentially being the birth of this character's life as a video game character.
