I see the disclaimer that this was made in 2 days, however, most of the stuff inside is functional already if not all, so I think I should say good work to you. XD

I didn't play it much but I do have a question. Does the tank killable without the screen wipe? I shoot them like forever until I had to evade them but they still didn't die.

This may be a bit rough around the edges, but the enemy distribution, behaviours, and hp feel well balanced, the options the player has are nice, and it's just fun to play. My only complaint is that the blue shots from the spiky ball enemies are hard to see against the background.

I am not the greatest at these games, so I tried not to judge too harshly on that. At least as far as I could get, there seemed to be some intrigue with the way the levels were designed. It didn't play the same way every time, which is a fascinating concept for a shooter like this. I also ran into the death bug and thought it was my browser playing tricks on me at first. Maybe that could get fixed soon? Other than that, the music was very good and bouncy, would love to see it matched up with just as cool an atmosphere.

I like the different shot types and matching enemy formations. The randomized levels offer quite a bit of variety, and the music is pretty good. I found a small bug where the player won't leave the screen on death and gets stuck instead. Good game overall!

Mamizou sure got a nice makeover - would love to see a full design sheet for her, actually??? And the music is pretty groove.

The gameplay is fun, but there's still a lot of room for improvement. I like the shot-switching, but the mechanic seems kind of underutilised. For instance, the homing shot doesn't precisely home onto enemies, instead only its initial angle is affected which can cause it to miss if the enemy is about to leave the screen/moves too fast. The ice physics movement is also quite wonky and doesn't give you room for precise movement, though I guess the sparseness of the danmaku makes precise dodging not a necessity. I do like how generous the game is with items.

All in all a solid jam game! My high score was around 535, I think.

I played for several minutes and had a good time. Wish I could see my score but the game just wipes it upon death. Also, I somehow managed to find a bugged state where I wouldn't take damage upon seemingly hitting zero health (and health items wouldn't heal me).

The game is solid fun, but a bit unpolished. I like the ability to easily change shots, but the spread and homing seem very situational.

Decent work for a 2-days project.

From a player standpoint, the spread shot is underwhelming - and the "homing shot" is very ineffective: the shots are slow and don't actually track enemies (they're just auto-aimed) so they end up missing 80% of the time.
It's also hard to gauge when the health and magic bars are filled, but we all know that.

Say who made the music tracks? The stage bgm kinda groovy

based and ice physics pilled

i'd post my high score, but it doesn't get reset when you die, so it probably isn't helpful

edit: cool neocities! game wouldnt load on there for me though
