Fun little crafting game! Well done :D

It looks amazing, and the idea is very clever- it's just super, super unclear what I have to do, I don't think the hints are obvious enough unfortunately. Maybe could've done with a little popup when you hover over things, so I can easily tell what they can be used to craft?

Good job though, good idea!

Developer

Thanks for your reply, I agree with everything you said and I'm sorry for the unclear parts ! I think the pop up could be a great addition but I quite don't understand how it could be implemented. The pop up would appear and say in which recipes the current object can be used ? But if I do that, it destroy the research aspect isn't it ? Thanks again for playing and for your suggestion

there's a research aspect? i more mean like just the name of the item so that it's more clear what they could be used to-rather than just telling the player that information. that alone would make it easier to understand.

still a good game though- don't get me wrong

A crafting game where you figure out what someone wants based on their responses is a pretty clever take on the theme, I like it!

Great game!

I enjoyed it overall, but I am not sure how it fits the theme.

The monsters are artificial intelligences that give different answers depending on the items offered, and you have to help them by providing them the items they need

Alchemy!!! Yes! I love it. Nothing wrong with taking some inspiration, you more than put your own spin on it. Don't let the originality criticisms get you down, I had a lot of fun :) Made it through the whole thing even!  SPOILERS My favorite part of the game was when you had to make a bow drill in order to make fire. It was very satisfying when my idea spawned the exact result that I wanted :D

Thanks a lot ! I was feeling a bit down after all the comments struggling with my game, but your comment get me back on my feet ;)

I'm so glad you found out the fire, I was pretty happy with the bow drill Idea but nobody seems to know this technique.

Well done again and have a nice Jam !

Ooh, reminds me a lot of "Little Alchemy"! :)

Overall really cool old school game design with little to no hints, only creativity ahead! uwu

Developer

Thanks a lot ! I know it can be hard to believe but I never played little alchemy and the the title of my game is a pure coincidence x)

No hints, no constructor, it’s just extremely difficult, but worth to test :) Also can you try and rate my game pls :)

good game but long and boring if you get stock on the same object

Developer

Thanks for your comment, what object did you get stuck on ?

Beautiful but not very original.

I did not like much to process only by successive tries to progress

Developer (2 edits)

Yeah I know the crafts can be sometimes a bit hard !

If you get stuck on a question consider taking a look at the collection to get a hint ;)

I feel like the monster requests with custom answers and comments add a lot to the originality part, but I can be wrong.

Thanks for playing !
