Challenging one !

Nice game, even if i can't pass the first level ah ah !

Lovely art too !

Developer

Yeah there's only the one level at the moment, if you reached the exploding ghosts you were more than halfway through

It took me a few losses to finally learn that I could upgrade my units, after that I won on the first try. The rhythm of the game made it really easy to tell what was going on, gave me some time to make decisions about what units to place or upgrade, and generally gave the game an overall vibe that really gave it its identity. That central concept was really cool and nicely executed!

winning first try is bloody impressive, good job!

Love the art/music for this game

I like the game, (but i can't finish even the first level), the music is ok, and the sprite of the ghost remind me the ghost of scooby doo (the old cartoon). GG

Very nice tower defense, I really like it!

The music is superb and the art is really lovely! Nice work!

Nice tower defence game. Adding rhythm was great idea.

I like graphics and music. It's fun and challenging. I barely won this.

Good job!

Not a huge fan of tower defense games, but I mean adding rhythm is always a good addition :D

  • Funny how only the title screen is lower quality than the rest visually, did not expect this effect on retry
  • Your game is a good fun hard!
  • Had to restart multiple times to see you can upgrade, maybe show this somewhere
  • Also a SFX when the bar is ready, always forget to use it
Developer

That sfx idea is great, thanks!

This is super cool! I don't see a lot of tower-defense games in game jams anyways but combining it with a rhythm aspect to the movement is super cool! The game is really brutal though! Still, a lot of fun and for 3 days, good job!

Really like this one! The Petrify! meter may be one of my favorite visual touches I've seen in a game jam, and I'm a big fan of the art for the enemies and towers. Game is brutal, though -- definitely a combination of your towers feeling weak, the enemies feeling very spongy and the prices increasing very fast that make it very tough.

Really good! It's quite unique for a tower defense game. Took me a while to get the hang of it but I managed to win! Also, must be hard to make a rythm game in 3 days, good job

Really great game. I spent nearly an hour on it, and could barely get to the rainbow bomb ghosts. This game is really hard, but it's very well-made. I think the prices ramp up a bit too quickly, but besides that, the game was enjoyable!

Presentation is done really well! Gameplay gets a bit difficult very quickly, maybe a bit slower spawns would help, or I'm just bad at tower defence games :)) Either way nice work!

The sound and visuals work really well together for this game, but wow it's difficult! Maybe it could have individual waves (unless it did and I never made it to the end of the first one) and a slightly slower ramping difficulty curve? (Or maybe I'm just really bad a tower defence games haha!)

Good job, it's a tough one!
