It’s fun as a basic idea. As others are suggesting, I would build more on top of this, like different layers of the planet (with cores made of gold, diamond, etc), different types of planets, moons, etc. 4-44 rule, again.

Making planet go boom is fun, maybe you could add different types of planets/asteroids

Not really sure what's going on but making the plant go boom is pretty fun!

This is so silly and I love it. I don't know if I'm winning or losing but I love making the planet explode.

It seems like this could've been a good idle game if you had more time to polish.

It's a basic mechanic but that's not always a bad thing, next time I would spend some time in the polish even in your particle effects you can change the speed and size you can even have an array of sprites to select from to make it more varied. and satisfying to play through.
