Good job !

I knew this game was one of the best !

Developer

Thanks,  And congratulations for the first place :D

Man I can't believe I managed to do that. I spend almost 1 day to search for a concept, I lost almost a day to code puzzles I didn't implement, and 5 hours before the deadline the game was a buggy mess with no sound a all. I think it's the price for a no sleep week-end...

So should I put Kuebiko in my collection, do you planing on updating it in the future ? (I would love to see where you going with it)

Developer

Yeah, I will make an update, I wanted to add a tower and couldn't do it for the jam, more less for the next week I will post the update

It's beautiful, I liked the gameplay, it reminds me of Plants Vs Zombies and a bit Kingdom which are 2 good references :) The moving cards are interesting and add something to the experience. I liked the smoke/flame effect, the rendering is cool.

My only concern is that the thumbnail is very dark and it doesn't catch the attention as it should be ;) And I would've been sad to miss it! Very good job!

Developer(+1)

Bro, thanks and I was just thinking that the cover was too dark, I was going to post the link of the game on the discord server XD

Brilliant game, I loved it! I really liked the core gameplay loop, and how the cards you got came more frequently and how strategies developed with new mechanics, it really made the game feel fun to progress. The stronger attacks at the end of each wave were also a fun addition; I liked the challenge it brought and it was useful to signal that the end of the wave was near as well. I'd love to see more added to the game in future, like more towers and enemies, new levels, new mechanics, there's a lot of really good potential here, so very well done!

really good game, liked the idea of scarecrows attacking, nice

Nice colors and presentation (a bit on the dark side, tho), and very tense. I love the idea to have the cards floating by. I could've used a bit more feedback when dragging the cards, I ended up placing them in the wrong spot quite often. But that might just have been me stressing out too much.

Adore the art and pacing. I really like the gameplay and mechanics, very fun and interesting with only having 2 cards to play at a time. Awesome job!

Love It!, big fan of the color palette and esthetics.  Game play seem simple but quickly made me bust out my 1 star general helmet .

Developer

Haha, Thanks :D

Awesome! I'm a fan of PvZ, so this was pretty enjoyable! I'm not a fan of the palette (too dark imo) and I wish there was a way to replace units. Other than that, a solid game!

Thanks, adding a tool to remove towers crossed my mind, but I don't know what I thought but I wanted to put limitations on the player, the deck of cards only has two spaces, the cards go fast, etc. if the player has the opportunity to remove towers when the player places the towers quickly because the cards go away, he will have the possibility of correcting mistakes deflecting the purpose of the cards leaving, idk, I wanted to make weird choices for the game XD

Very very nice, fun, good colors, and easy controls. Only criticism is that it felt like the game should just restart when you lose a level. Losing all your towers and then playing at the same difficulty doesn't really work.

Developer(+1)

Thank you very much for your comment, I consider that restarting the game when losing would be more tedious since you would lose your cards, instead simply starting from the first wave with your cards allows you to plan a better strategy, but I understand your criticism and it is something that I did not have time to change, since some last-minute bugs appeared, anyway, thank you very much for your comment :D

Genuinely had a lot of fun! The graphics, the movements, the gameplay, and music -- Everything just fits together so well.

Well, this is incredibly well done for 3 days... I'm blown away.

Developer

I'm really serious, for now your game is my favorite of the jam, 4.5 stars, IGN 10/10, 95 % metacritic. It would be perfect with more content, depth and polish.

Developer

Wow, thank you very much, I still would have liked to give the game more content, I feel that at the moment it is still a bit simple and that it lacks mechanics, I am very glad that you liked the game since I think this is the only game that I didn't have people testing the game, and as a developer of the game at the beginning, the game seems fun to me because I'm seeing the progress that I made and at the end, it frustrates me since it's repeating the same actions to get to look for a bug, like this I feel that I don't have a good perspective to know if the game is good or not, so I really appreciate your comment  :'D
