I had a good time with this little puzzle game. Clever mechanics and the art style was appealing to the eye too. Good job putting this together in only 48 hours!
It was kind of fun! I definitely would have enjoyed more levels. Good work!
I liked the puzzles, you could definitely extend this :) thank you
A chill puzzle game! Loved it! It has the potential for more advanced levels too! Just one suggestion for the future, make sure the music doesn't reset every time I fail or enter a new level, because the music choice was great! Great job!
Nice use of Thomas's teachings :) I'm sure he is proud. Nice use of the theme. The puzzles were interesting and fun.
Just a note... When Thomas put that music in the tutorial he said we could use it for the tutorials but we should contact "By Forever" for licensing if we wanted to really use it. Not sure if this counts because it is not commercial... but you might want to at least put in an attribution. Not sure how all that works. Likewise I don't know where Thomas got that ambient sound to know if we are allowed to just use it (It could be a free asset somewhere, I don't know - he never said where he got that one from).
Good job completing a game in 48 hours!!!!
Yea I've been learning a ton from the course. Still haven't checked out the audio section but I appreciate the heads up.
The original goal was to add my own music, and sounds effects. Just wasn't able to complete it in time.
But I agree with you. When I'm able to update the game again, I'll add my own sounds or give an attribution at the least.
Oh, I know, right!?! 48 hours wasn't enough time to do a lot of things LOL Your game is great though (not even just because it was completed in 48 hours!) I agree, I have been learning a lot from the course too, but have a lot left to go.
(*I just meant on the game's itch description, you could credit the music's artist. As a CYA type of thing π)
PS my kids loved your game too π
Nice use of the theme. Great looking visual and ambience. Good understanding of what kind of puzzles this could potentially have. I think it's a decent base.
You could spend a month or two on this project really coming up with features and puzzles. Different ways to utilize this core mechanic of dual control. In the end you'd have something meaningful and fun.
Good job!
This was awesome. Great mechanics, great atmosphere, interesting interpretation of the theme. Really nice work :)
