I could tell you put a lot of effort into this but unfortunately I ran into a lot of bugs that made it hard to play.  The player ship was almost invisible against the background, and somehow it kept moving above the top of the screen and getting stuck there.

But I know first hand how hard it is to make a game in only 48 hours so what you were able to put together in that short time has a lot of potential!  Just iron out those bugs and you'll be making good progress.

I liked the laser gun with it's recharge mechanic. Did run into a few bugs, but overall I was still able to understand the spirit of the game. Congrats on a successful Game Jam!

My little blue ship kept getting lost, but anyway I could still see lasers coming out of it, hitting the bad guys B)

Loved playing this one! Nice work!

You really tried to fit the theme which is great! The idea was great, but yeah it is a bit buggy... Understandable in 48 hours!!! Unfortunately, that does kind of detract from the experience and how enjoyable it is to play. Also, it was difficult for me personally because I have never really played this kind of game lol it took me a bit to get the hang of using movement keys and a mouse. But that's just me lol Also, how do you win? Is there a winning scenario - beat a certain number of rounds etc? Or just play as long as you can survive? I wasn't sure if there was a way to win or not so that was something I wanted to know. I like to win!!! LOL Really, really great effort, great idea, great concept that fit the theme. If you fix it up for yourself and push it to itch later, let me know!! I'd love to play it when it's working a bit more :)

I loved how you can downgrade your weapons & the enemies weapons at the same time. Really fit the theme:) My only complain would be the color of the ship and the general contrast. But overall great game, nice work!

I like the idea as it's basically a similar idea to what I wanted to do. My only real issue is it's very difficult to see what is happening. Perhaps try creating contrast between the player/enemies and the background

Overall nice attempt

Unfortunately I couldn't see much, everything was very dark, but that could have been a glitch on my side since from the screenshot is seems to look alright. Shooting was a little buggy but I think it's a great concept. Overall great game for a 2-day game jam! Nice work!

Very interesting concept; i did have my guy glitch out of existence a few times, but i can see it's potential! i like the level upgrade system choices as you progress, adds the extra flare of "what could i get next if i was faster, stronger" etc
