Love the aesthetic! It'd be nice to have a back button in case the player changes their mind about a move in combat. It would also be nice to either have text speed or a way to have the text instantly appear (preferably both).

I love the presentation of this. The hand-drawn art and music are great! It's really charming, and super ambitious for a jam. Well done!
This completely took me by surprise with how charming and sweet it was! Fantastic work!!!
Haha holy moly this was so great! The hand drawn art, the dialogue and writing, the hilarious acappella music. I'm just sad that it wasn't somehow also hours longer ;) Very impressive, and hope you expand upon it after the jam!
I really liked the writing and using real things for your art is also quite something new and interesting to see! Great Job
This was a SUPER fantastic game! The visuals and music were really good, especially for something made in just 48 hours!
A bug that I've noticed that I don't think anyone else has: I found that I can FARM Relationship Links by purposely failing and repeating the correct dialogue over and over again, at least at the section after the Stan fight.
Other than that and a few spelling/grammar mistakes, this is an excellent game, and I look forward to seeing a completed version in the future!
WOW. This is super duper ambitious. I absolutely want to see a fuller version of this!! I'm following you so I don't miss it!
Looks really interesting. What kind of materials have you used? I think I can see wood, cardboard & paper? Have you arranged the backgrounds and took a photo, or did you find a way to digitize them via scanner? I know I can scan a lot of crazy stuff with mine, as long as it has a flat surface - but honestly, never tried except for my artwork on paper.
We took pictured of them, using a blue background to chroma key out for the smaller sprites and took full photos of the backgrounds then cropped it to the screen resolution(though if we do something like this again, we might need to try out a scanner). And you pretty much have all the materials down!
My wife liked it very much. Design is awesome. Sound design is awesome awesome. Hope to see you in GMTK video.
Just wow...
The storyline goes very well for the 48 h limit and the cartoony style fits so good. I'm sorry for you not finish some other mechanics.
Bugs I've seen:
- In combat, you can attack dead enemies (at least in the cave)
- Some texts are getting out of paper
To make the game better-looking:
- In dialogues, it would be better if the speaking character was highlighted (by making him slightly bigger or lighter)
- To have something to do besides the main storyline (shopping, chitchats with random NPCs, ...)
- Making the combat more interesting with consumables and gear
I would love to see some updates after the end of the jam ;)
