Your game doesn't work

I wanted to try and make a game with a chain between characters too but was a bit intimidated by the implementation. You did a much better job than I would've done! There are some stuff left to be desired but overall it's a solid submission with interesting ideas, well done!

I was able to run the game but couldn't get past the first level because the chain mechanic wasn't working. :(

That's sad, but we hope you'll succeed next year! :D

Developer

I'm quite sure you should be able to get through it. Have you tried to jump the big ball on the small? When you have the big one on the step you should be able to pull the smaller up.

Game is extremely impressive! It lacks audio & the movement is a bit dull, but i enjoyed the 6 levels fairly well!

Thank you <3

D: I can't run the file! It says that it misses the unityplayer dll file, which probably means you forgot to pack em into the zip. That's kind of unfortunate, looked like an interesting gam

Well, it works with the extra files. I like your level system. Most games don't have that, and your system works well. When playing your game, I don't think the chain works entirely correctly, but even without it there were a few cool tricks with jumping the balls together that I thought were pretty fun.

Developer

Yeah, I know the chains aren't working the best, these are just some objects connected by Hinges from the Physics2D module. It would be better if I'd used forces for jumping instead of changing velocities but I haven't figured out how to make that really work.

I'm not sure if I did it wrong, but when I download your project it won't run because it cannot find unityplayer.dll. I can't quite rate your game yet, but I do think the premise could be interesting. I'll see if I can fix that issue.

got same error

I'm really sorry for that. I'm not working with Unity on daily basis so I didn't know it needs not only the .exe file and Data folder. Now I see it also needs Crash handler, .dll file and MonoBleedingEdge folder which are the same for all projects. As I got it built along with other project, I forgot to pack them...

I'm dumb... The missing files are here, please put them into the same folder as others (you can probably use these things also from any other Unity project you already reviewed).
