In what way does your game fit the theme?
You can only interact with resources and you can win the enemy waves if you have enough ants together to defeat and to interact with them.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code by myself and for the arts like the tree, big stone and some of the ui elements we got it in unity asset store but the rest of it we made it, and for the sounds we made it from scratch as well. You will see who made it specifically in the credits.

  • I feel like procedural animation would be better for the ants’ movement

  • The walking SFX is good but maybe a bit loud

  • Nice music

  • I feel like the camera moves too much

  • I wish more ants meant resource collecting would be faster (or if that’s already what happens then I think the effect should be more noticeable)

  • I think there should be upgrades related to collecting resources as well

  • Some more visual feedback would be nice (ants dying and resources being collected)

Cool concept and it definitely banged the theme! Smooth controls and good graphics, design are well made but however i wish u can adjust the camera viewing angle to be more focused on the ant. The ant commands could be improved as sometimes it uses all ants instead of few

Love this! Perfect for the theme. However, I would have loved a way to multitask them.  I lost because they wandered away from the home during attacks to fight enemies far away when there were guys actively attacking the home. Besides those two frustrations, I really really liked this!

Cool game along with a very cool concept which fits the theme very well, little slow at the start but still good!

Is it normal that when I hit play the ant starts moving without my input and never stops moving?  I tried to push E to collect items but nothing is happening for me.  The game looks great and you nailed many aspects.  Just not sure if my pc is dorked this morning or I just don't know what I am doing lol.

I liked the idea of the game but i would have liked it if i could command the ants on what to collect. it often happend, that all of my ants collected from one place where there only needed to be one ant.

Developer (1 edit)

I dont know why you cant command the ants, cause i made it so when the ants are collecting stone and if the player interact with gold, the ants will go with gold instead. Thanks for playing!

Great work! It's little bit slow at the beginning, but decent jam game!

I overall liked this game, and I had fun playing it. I will say that it sometimes feels like the game plays every thing automatically, without I have to do very much. But overall a good jam game. Well done.

I liked the the concept and the movement feels responnsive and good. Although I hate grindy games but it was fun to play nonetheless

The tower defense element in this game was excellent and the ants combining forces fit the theme nicely! In addition I enjoyed the graphical style and audio used in the game. Truly felt immersed and didn't want to stop!
