I know its rough, but this is one of my favourite games from this jam. I like all the mechanics you implemented - crafting different items as prerequisites for getting materials for other items, having to make weapons to defend yourself and defend the egg.

Tiny nitpick: I think having to read and memorise the controls/instructions before playing can turn people away which is a real shame. I opened the itch page on my other screen so I could refer to it while playing. But hints/instructions should ideally be ingame and natural/intuitive.

It feels like more of a real game than a minigame/demo :) It's super hard, and obviously could use some sound and graphics and interface can be polished, and things like walking on water obviously seem unintentional, but I really enjoyed it, I think it's actually my most played game from this jam :D

Cute game! Loved how you interact with the environment. I couldn't figure out crafting; I would press C, then C again, and then the crafting menu went away forever.

I tried to play the game but clicking on "host game" just takes me to this screenshot, not having anything to control and no menu seeming to appear if I press any key. I'm on windows by the way.

I'll withhold on rating for now.
