Thank you so much for your review! Make sure to follow the project to be warned if we decide to update it :)

wow that... probably should be written somewhere lol.

Wow, those are some really inspiring words! Thank you so much for your review!

Thank you so much for your review! I'm so glad you enjoyed the mechanics, we really tried to balance the production and defence aspect of things, so it makes me happy you thought it made the game fun!

Took a while to adjust to the floaty physics, but once I did it became very satisfying to complete the levels. Good job!

I also think I would have liked to be able to throw a spin on the egg by sending the force on somewhere other than just the center of the egg, but I understand the need for consistance and the jam setting.

I'm a big fan of the simplistic 1-bit aesthetic, it felt very comfortable. Kinda wish for some music though, or sound effects of any kind, but fun game nonetheless!

I tried to play the game but clicking on "host game" just takes me to this screenshot, not having anything to control and no menu seeming to appear if I press any key. I'm on windows by the way.

I'll withhold on rating for now.

Character creation was amazing, and the time I got waterwalking + flying + upwards attack was a very satisfying run indeed.

Again, controls were wonky at best and nearly unplayable if you had a bad gen. But the overall experience was enjoyable, good job!

Edit: about the controls, it felt like my character was always gliding a little, and I felt the aerial control was either limited or much too impactful. The jumps were quick, very high and hard to control. It made me feel like playing the aladdin game, for a lack of a better comparison.

Who gave you permission to make me cry?

Amazing game, I will be recommending this to friends for SURE. My penguin tattoo and I are thanking you!

Also for the controls, I was on keyboard and managed to do fine, the warning to make the player go slow in level 3 was enough for me to take my time and it all went well, so really good job!

Amazing musical and technical experience, I couldn't stop telling myself "every one of those penguins is trying their best and it's beautiful :c". Thank you for this game!

Thank you so much for playing!

Thanks a lot!
Indeed, it was solidly inspired by classics such as Bloons, some Element TD-style crafting was hopefully going to be in there but was dropped last minute due to time constraints, and it was a pretty obvious tribute to the Line TDs from war3.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Thank you for playing!

I agree, one of the plans for the game was to have the ability to raise more chickens, but that was one of the many ideas that ended up not being made due to the jam setting.

Thank you so much nonetheless for highlighting that one!

Thank you so much for your review! I'm glad you enjoyed your experience :)

By the way, if someone can send us a screenshot of them finishing the game with more than the playtester's established record of 1088 eggs, I'd be pretty impressed!

You're the first person to mention roller coaster tycoon but I can totally see it now! And yeah, @lapspider45's stuff really brings a lot to the game.

Thank you so much for playing !

Interesting concept, and the gameplay feels good! However, I've found myself waiting for chicken eggs for most of the game, with the orders piling up. Maybe I wasn't playing optimally though so a fun experience nonetheless!
