Great Game! Although I have 1 piece of advice - whenever the mouse hovers over a button, make it change color or increase is size to indicate the player that this is a button. Overall, great game :D

Developer

Thanks for the advice - I'll include that in a future update. Would also make the game look a bit more lively.

This is a really interesting concept that with more robust gameplay could really be something.

A simple but nice game. I liked the conceopt of running 360 degrees around the planet. It was a little jarring though that the shop uses the mouse when the rest of the game just uses the keyboard. I notice you say you didn't make the graphics or sound, but they were chosen very well anyway.

Thanks for your feedback!

Nice game! the art and sound fit well with each other and the gameplay was not that bad. A few things I have to point out are when I press keep pressing spacebar, it ends up opening the shop everytime. Also, if you could point the shooting towards the players mouse so they can have somewhat of an aim towards the enemies, that would be really nice as well because it was kind of hard to precisely aim up. Overall though, nice game!

Thanks for your feedback! I'm aware of the bug where pressing the space bar repeatedly opens the shop, but there just wasn't time during the jam to fix it. And we originally made the player aim with the mouse, but we wanted to make it a bit more difficult because otherwise the player wouldn't have to move much, diminishing the effect of the enemy shots (which slow him down). Thanks for taking the time to play our game!

Ahhh I see that makes sense. Perhaps you can try and set a parameter so the player can only have a certain aiming range?

Developer(+1)

Nice idea, that could work, and we also thought of adding some sort of "triple-shot" ability which would up the chances of hitting an enemy. Might change something in a future update...

Nice take on the alien invasion type games, and I liked the upgrades as well as the enemy varieties.

I like the idea, the tiny planet giant protector is fun and unlike alot of the games I've been trying it runs really well in the browser version aswell. Good job :)

Really different take on the alien invader style of play. Also the ability to upgrade is a nice touch but I wish there was ways to slow down enemies as it felt like the enemies get to the planet on the other side of me before I can go round the planet and aiming is very difficult to hit enemies. Still  a really interesting game, Good job.

Please check out my game if you get the chance.

I really enjoyed the surprise factor of just the random bullets that you sometimes shoot. Very fun and the progression of buying upgrades from the shop really added a lot. I feel like the theme could have been explored more but other that great game! Good job! :)

I like your take on the genre, having a circular world to protect added a lot of depth. Though I don't know how this game fits the theme. :)

Hey, sadly I wasn't able to play the game because my browser wouldn't load which sadly happens with approx. 1/3 of all web games I tried here. Wish you the best luck though :)

Nice game, I like the mechanics of it. I am quite shit at it though!

Developer

Haha thanks for playing!
