the art is pretty nice! I love it so much! but the only problem is walk through the trees and rocks is something that can be fix it with updates, apart of that after I finish the game appeared a very random picture that made me think that the balloons were people, wow such a scary story behind. Hope you guys can updated the game and put more levels and put a buttom of exit at the end because I couldn't close the window after the game finished.

PD: if you can rate my game,I'll be so grateful <3.

Thank you for playing our game! We are glad that you got what the intention was! In a future patch we will have the demo fully updated to what we would have liked it to be! I'll definitely have a look at your game when I have time!

The art and the music are absolutely magnificent in this game! I guess it was a cool satisfying experience to shoot balloons while listening to calm music.

One thing I’d suggest is fixing the layering because walking onto trees is not possible in real life like that. It took me quite a bit of time to realize how to shoot properly, but in the end, I managed to figure it out and I didn’t even need a tutorial poggers.

Gameplay-wise, the game needs some tweaking and refining, but other than that, I could see what you guys were aiming to create. Well done!

Developer

Thank you for playing our demo! Because of some code issues we couldn't manage to fully show the demo in the state we hoped it to be. We will patch it soon!

The pixel art and the painted artstyle are both really beautiful, but they don't fit very well together.

I like the music ! What genres were you mixing ?

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you for playing our game!

We are happy you enjoyed the art and the music. Since the theme was mixing genres, we wanted to apply this to the art as well. We are very happy with how this mix turned out!

As for music, I've tried to mix a Major / Pentatonic pop vibe with a more vinyl-like cuteness to it.

Because of some code issues we ended up not finishing the demo to the standards we hoped it to be at the end of the jam, which meant that we didn't get to create the vibe we wanted, as well as a not having the time to include other music that was already finished .

We are planning on patching this demo in the near future so stay tuned!

Oh ! I see ! That's an interesting approach of the theme

Absolutely loveeeee the art and music, it's so peaceful and adorable! Wasn't really sure about the shooting controls though, it seemed to shoot in a random direction

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing our game!!  Unfortunately, the game broke near the end of the jam so we were not able to finish the game to the standard that we hoped it to be. We will bring out a patch soon!

Nice work on art and sound, but controls really confuse me: couldn't understand how I can control shooting direction, also sometimes there is no projectile (is it somehow related to time mouse button is pressed?).

Submitted

Oh, found out you should be putting your mouse behind the character. :ь

Feel dumb now...

Developer

Thank you for your review! In the next patch we will improve the shooting mechanic, as well as bringing the game up to the standard we hoped it to be at the end of the jam. We hope you try it again once the game has been updated!

Love the art. Need some hint on aiming.

Developer

Thank you so much for the compliment! Yes, unfortunately the game kinda broke a few hours before deadline - we hope to have a working patch update soon! Thank you for playing our game :D

Controls are a bit laggy (Only one direction input) but i love ambiance and art !
There is a bug, early if you try to shoot, without the slingshot, you freeze in the shoot animation ^^

Developer

Thank you for playing our game and pointing out the bug! We are currently fixing many other bugs and getting the controls and game to what we had in mind at the start of the jam. We are happy to hear you liked the art and ambience. Expect an updated version soon!

For me this game was really really buggy. Movement was clunky, and aiming the slingshot was at times unclear and for the most part really difficult. I think if I were to make changes I would make it so the movement keys get translated into a direction vector so that I can press more than one at a time to move. I also think some clear visual indication for where and how I am to aim the slingshot would help here as well. Otherwise, the art was very cute and the music was relaxing so great work on those fronts.

Thank you very much for your comment and the very good recommendation. Unfortunately the game was in a much better state until everything broke. We are currently fixing things so expect an update of the game soon!

Interesting game! aiming was a little hard at times.
The art is cute! and I did not see the end coming.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing our game!  Unfortunately the game broke near the end, and we did not manage to fully sort out the aiming system. We will be updating the game shortly so feel free to come back soon and play the new version!

Cozy music and very nice art :D It would've been helpful with a corsair to know show were one is aiming :)

Thank you so much for playing our game and giving it a go!! Yes, unfortunately the game broke near the end and a few things we planned to impliment (aiming was one) were just not able to be done. We hope that in the next few days we will have a fixed version, despite it not counting towards the jam anymore. Thank you for the comment 🙏
