Wow! This is an amazing jam entry. I love picross, so I just played through all the puzzles in one go. (Loved the secret one!) It was a lot of fun.

The only gripe I have is that hold+dragging the Xs cancels any that are already placed, which forced me to slow down a bit. But that's a small nitpick!

It was a great idea to have helper characters that help you out with their special abilities. All the characters were so cute and funny. And I really love the idea of picross with a storyline.

You should be proud of your accomplishment. Thanks for making such a swell game for all of us to enjoy!

Thank you so much! I've actually got a fix for the gripe you mentioned (along with a few small QoL improvements) but it'll only go up once the rating period is over.

I need to see a devlog on how exactly this was made in one week

Bonus points for picross, cute art and well chosen palette, great music, what’s not to like, really? Voting is supposed to be secret but w/e: I rated it 5/5 in everything

please make more :)

I'm honestly also a bit surprised we managed to squeeze so much in. There were nine days and we worked hard during each of them!

Great work.

Really interesting. Ill fall into the catagory of people who where not able to figure out how to play the game even after watching youtube tutorials on it....man this is some interesting....yes

Overall very well done with the graphical art style, text menu and just everything visually. I think my only thing would be SFX and music. It would be nice to have the option to be able to mute the music while playing.

With the nature of this game considering the long duration of time you might be playing it, you will want to mute the music, while being able to keep all the sound effects in game. This would be the type of game i could sit in on the couch with but want to jam with my own tunes while enjoying the SFXs of the game.

Tutorial level would have been nice. Even if it was with just 2 numbers or most of the grid filled out for how the game is played...Not sure. But it would have really helped a-lot.

nice job and well wrapped up.

These are good suggestions! I do find myself turning the music down in other picross games I play, so BGM/SFX volume sliders could be nice.

I don't know how long I was playing your game, but if your goal was to keep me focused, you did it! Beautiful color palette, great soundtrack and sound effects, delicious gameplay. great game!

I felt that the "cursor" slips a little, because sometimes it goes right through the box that I want to mark and marks the next one.

Congratulations for the game!

I never played a picross game, and unlike other people in the comments I was too stupid to figure it out ._. I can see the production value is this is super high though, feels really polished!

Developer

That's a shame! I'm hoping to add a more robust tutorial, but that might not be coming for a while, so until then the game description page has a link you can follow for some useful tips.
