There was a message from the hosts somewhere saying the voting period is enabled to lock the submissions and the itch displays "rate for ..." anyway, even though the jam is unrated
Yep that's exactly right, what Igor said. The submissions are locked so that the EC crew and go over the submissions in the way they were when the jam was completed instead of having some games that were updated afterwards by the time they get to them, but itch displays the "rate" message anyway. Sorry for the confusion! It's just the easiest way to lock things down
