Ranked from 21 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
The game is single-player split screen, where the left side represents forward motion through time, and the right represents a rewound version of events

Did you write most of the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All of the code is self-written, although Brackeys' tutorials were a massive help :-)

Have not seen a game in this jam where you control two players at once. This game is really well done, Good Job!

Fun game. Controlling two players at once really changes how you play.

Good Game but of course there are some bugs like sometimes you can just stay without touching keyboard that happen to me for like 15 seconds. and the diamonds sometimes are inside the block so you cant get them

but the games art-style really stood out to me awesome game.

Developer

Thanks for your response! I agree that some bugs were left unsolved. I tried weighting the spawning system for the obstacles a bit so they would appear more regularly on the bottom, but I completely get what you're saying and I probably could've done with weighting it a little heavier on the bottom. I also struggled to come up with a solution for the diamond, so if you've got any ideas for that, that would be much appreciated :-) Thanks!

After Playing your game i realised the screen is divided in 3 parts the obstacles are a 2 block high, 1 block or middle block and stuff so whenever they are spawn make the diamond not spawn on that Y position.

Developer

Cool! I think that could fix part of the problem, I know sometimes the stars end up inside the obstacles because they are a bit faster than the obstacles, but it could be that your idea fixes it enough so it happens so rarely it doesn't matter. I'll have to implement it into the game and see how it goes. Thank you!

  • Graphics are sipmle and great.
  • Audio is really good.
  • Gameplay was a little bit hard but if you play some you can get better at it.

At the overall I liked this game! Good job.

My left hand keeps betraying me, I didn't die once with my right hand :) This game was hard but addicting! I kept getting fooled by the gap in the middle of the blocks since the jumps went higher than the gap. I think having a variable jump height might be nice to hit those gaps easier.

Great job! Thanks for sharing, I had fun.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback -really appreciated! The game does actually have variable jump heights (just tap the keys lightly for a small jump that makes it easy to fit through the small gaps) but I agree that I didn't do a great job of signposting it. Thanks for playing!

Oh you're right, I'm dumb. I just went back and outdid my previous best by double with the different jump heights haha. Thanks for pointing that out!

Nice concept, the artstyle is neat and it could get really interesting getting those highscores!

Great game.

I found this enjoyable, it's simple yet addicting at the same time. I didn't think it fit the theme too well, but it's still a fun and clean game. Nice work!

Simple yet addicting game! Great job!
I love the visuals, love the effects, the fact there is tutorial in place and the fit of music.
Even though I haven't managed to get any significant high score, it got me hooked for a while :)

I enjoyed this game a lot! Found myself playing a few extra rounds to try to beat my score. I thought this was a really unique take on a runner and a cool way to explore the theme! Nicely done!

Stayed on the game for quiet a bit. Good work!! Liked the black and white color scheme. Keep it up,,!

I'd love to hear your input on my submission, I'm going to be continuing it after the jam so and criticisms / suggestions / feedback are welcome!

Boy this game messes with your head. I like the idea, but the theme of rewind didn't seem to fit well into the game. But besides that it was a nice simple game. Music was relaxing, art was minimalistic, and just overall a good casual game. Great job and good luck!

My brain felt weird playing this! Good job :)

Wow! I love the design, audio, the feel... well all of it really. After reaching 10k I feel like I achieved something xd One thing I can think of how you can upgrade  your game is that you can make the game a little bit harder by either making it faster earlier on or making the obstacles come from the both sides at the same time
