I have deep respect for the fact that you used Jazz to fulfill the theme.
Also the game is just really tight, there's basically nothing to complain about for a Jam game.

It's a really fun game. I like the art style. The sound effect when hit made it even better.

You could maybe make the music more complex (by adding instruments for example) each time you get a note. Like you begin with a simple music and have an orchestral music when you have a high score.

This game was a treat. It's both refreshing in concept and in sound design, which really helped contribute to the stellar experience as a whole (especially enjoyed that sneaky Megalovania reference, haha!).

The art direction is very neat. Gameplay was a tad simple and but it was efficient. Nice.

It is admittedly a basic take on the theme since the out of control comes from the hectic-ness of gameplay at higher scores. And the Jazz it’s self. Thanks for playing!

Cool little game. The link with the theme is thin, but it work.

The low detail pixel art work well, the music is definitely the star in this game and no bug found. So overall good job !
