I won't say it is my type of game but it is sure special to see a narrative heavy visual novel here. The visuals and aesthetics were all well crafted. But I do think that it could create more variety by adding in point and click elements into your storytelling. Nice work!
I assure you it deserves a 5/5 star rating
This is the first game with such an extensive narrative that I've ever seen. My English isn't very good (I speak Spanish), but I still understood quite a bit. I appreciate the originality, and the visual style is amazing! I love the aesthetic choices. The fact that it's a visual novel makes it a creative and very interesting concept; I assure you it deserves a 5/5 star rating.
A great visual novel. My English isn’t very good, and I don’t know Korean, so it took me quite a while to read through the whole story, but I really enjoyed it. I really wish I could understand Korean so I could experience the original writing. I bet it’s beautiful.
Thank you so much for reading through to the end, even though it's not your native language! Your kind words really warmed my heart. May I ask where you're from? I'd like to keep it in mind when adding translations for my future works.
Very glad to hear that! I'm from China. Thank you for developing all the game!
Quite a dense narrative experience, definitely wasn't expecting something like this. Really nice work.
Thank you so much for reading through to the end and for your kind words!
When I started the game, I wasn't sure if I'd stick around for the blocks of texts to read. Before long, I was following the hollow friend's adventure urging me the follow that Red Dot. Brilliant storytelling. My heart was appropriately warmed!
Also, including a language select screen was an ingenious accessiblity touch. With more languages though, more people shall comfortably be able to experience it :)
We too have experimented with multiple ending story (3 endings) in our game "Digital Ash", but the story is there just to support our gameplay. Try it out, both for the story and the gameplay and provide your rating and feedback
We are planning on releasing this game officially in June 2026 on Steam, after improving upon the basic 13 day game jam build. We could really use the help of a Narrative Designer. Let me know if you're interested 👍
Thank you so much for enjoying my game! This is actually my second completed game, and I deliberately experimented with making it a longer narrative piece, so I was worried whether my intent would come through. I'm really glad it did!
If it had been a short piece, I would've included more languages. But since it's a longer narrative, I was concerned that translation issues might break the flow of the story. So I limited it to Korean (my native language) and English, the two I felt confident handling myself. I didn't want to risk losing the context in languages I couldn't verify.
About the collaboration offer, thank you, that really means a lot. Honestly though, I'm only about 2 months into game development, and I'm currently trying out different genres to figure out where my strengths actually lie. So I don't think I'd be the right fit for a narrative designer role at this stage.
Also, I've been pouring all my energy into my Mini Jame Gam entry, so I'm pretty drained right now. I'll do my best to play your game tomorrow and leave you an honest review!
Thanks again for the kind words!
pretty!
Thank you!
Beautiful visuals! The color palette is spot on. I assure you I will rate you 5/5
Thank you! Oh, are you an artist too? It really makes me happy that you noticed how much care went into the palette!
Beautiful score and artwork. Clever design choice and good story. I was also waiting for a jump scare since we’ve had a few in this jam, but I was pleasantly surprised. Good job on this, very creative.
Oh, you've shown me a new side of my own game! Thanks for the great feedback. I've played and left feedback on almost 50 games in this jam, but I haven't run into any of those jumpscare games you mentioned yet, haha. It's a shame I can't get to every single one since there are just too many. But I feel really lucky to have come across yours, you let me live out my little dream of flying through Earth's orbit. Thank you for that!
The audio in this was top-notch! The minimal style and storytelling were really great as well. There were some scenes I really wanted to see images for! The text at the end of each row was showing on one line and then dropping to the next, which was a little distracting, but I appreciated that you could skip through the text. I do feel the story could be cut a little shorter, but I know that's hard. It was really affecting when the story ended, and you went back to the title screen and looked into the friend's eyes. This is really inspiring work. Keep it up!
Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! This was my first game made in Godot, so still a lot I'm learning. The line breaks were intentional for pacing, but you're right that the gaps are too long, good note for next time. Really glad the ending landed, that moment meant a lot to me too.
Cool game, i like the art and music, the story is intriguing and creates a really nice atmosphere.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
I loved the game and the art; it's very beautiful. The song also perfectly complements the story. It was a truly enjoyable experience.
Wow, I'm so moved that you had a good experience with it! Thank you so much for the kind feedback!
Such a unique take on the theme! I'm not usually one for reading a lot, but I stuck with it until the end and I don't regret it at all! The music fits the atmosphere perfectly. Lovely little experience, good job!
Thank you so much for the kind feedback! It really means a lot and gives me energy to keep going!
Interesting concept! I was standing still waiting for a jumpscare at anytime :) but cute and soothing game.
Good instincts! Thanks for the kind words :)
That's a great idea. I think it's ironic but really clever to create an experience that revolves around a single button you press just once. It was really cool. I also really liked the music.
Thanks! It’s the first time I’ve really realized that a game can be played with just a single button. You actually gave me a great idea.
Since I’m not good at English, I relied on Google Lens to play.
I loved how the ephemeral yet warm music matched the world of the story! (ツ)ノ
The fact that you used Google Lens to play through the whole thing that really means a lot. And 'ephemeral yet warm' is such a perfect way to describe the music, thank you!
Now I couldn’t finish because my English isn’t very good, but Elias is way too brave haha, I would never go into that house.
The music is so relaxing :)
You made me translate so many texts.
I'm so glad you liked the music. I've actually been worried about the language part of the game myself. Where are you from? I'm Korean. I also had a lot of trouble with the translation process into English. Anyway, thank you so much for playing!
That's great, I'm from Brazil. We really like the Korean people here.
Wow, one of my friends actually lives in Brazil, and I’ve heard so many great things about how kind and passionate people are there. It’s truly amazing to connect with someone from the other side of the world like this :D
great game, the art style is perfect!
I really appreciate the warm feedback!
You forced me to read. There was too much text from the start. Great game, art and music though.
Haha fair enough. I know it's text heavy! Glad you stuck with it though. Thanks for the kind words on the art and music, those were the hardest parts to get right.
this is hauntingly beautiful.
love the experience!
the choices show up way too low on the screen and sometimes the images on the left seem to flicker.
Thank you so much 'hauntingly beautiful' is exactly the feeling I was going for. And thanks for the feedback on the choice button placement and the flicker, I'll work on fixing those!
