Tax form bug, can't complete - support ticket unanswered

I sent to support via the payout page as the tax form (W8BEN-I) is bugged and can't be completed (tax info expired and needs updating) in hopes it could be fixed or that I could submit the form in an alternative way. The payout ID is 210232. I sent the ticket in January the 22nd and have not gotten a response yet and am thus unable to receive any of the payouts pending.

I also send a support email through the official support email address on the 19th of January (ticket number: 338150) and haven't gotten a response to that either. I also made a github post which has no official answer yet, but another user who chimed in with the same problem.

After waiting for over a month now, I'm hoping a mod could help out with "bumping" one or both of the tickets created. Thank you.

I can't do that, but I've let our admins know about your ticket.

Thank you! That's what I meant. :)

Greetings! Same here. Sorry about entering your conversation instead of creating a new topic. I completed W8BEN-I form at January 19th,  so my payout with id 209969 created 57 days ago and still being in process...

I see topics here with answers thats were saying «do not ask how long it takes to...» but after 1.5 months of form validation and two monts payout being stuck I really think something is going wrong. Can you please help me with at least some advice or answer or any T_T

Yes, please use the link labeled "Contact support about this payout" (under Payout Details) as instructed in this pinned post.

I probably shouldn't have replied here again; it'll take up your time again, but my conscience won't let me leave you without gratitude! Thank you! The form status is now "Validated." I'll wait a few more days before contacting support about the payout because with actual tax info it can now be processed properly. Have a nice day!

We're now in April and I'm still unable to update my W8BEN tax form as it will not progress when pressing the continue button. I've tried in 3 different browsers and still get the same issue and still nothing from support. The form tells me it corrected the address and wants me to "verify", even when it doesn't change anything written, and then won't let me continue:

"Please verify the following address errors / warnings / modifications:

The thoroughfare (street) suffix was added or changed, such as from "St" to "Rd."

This is not an issue of "I submitted the form and it's stuck in pending" - I can't event submit it to being with as it's stuck at the permanent address section with no way of going forward, no way of getting payouts.

The web developer console shows every time I press the continue button that it "dispatches" me back to the same page (permanent address) with the added URL parameter of #validwithcorrections.

Checking "I recieved an error message stating..." does nothing either.

I’m stuck as well and have sent four separate requests with no answers since January — initial request was January 19th (ticket 338181). I need to update my tax info (which should be tax exempt, I realized) and don’t want to request a payout until I fix it. It’s been super frustrating!

Normally, if you request a payout and your tax information is out of date, you'll be prompted to update it before Itch.io continues with the payout. If there is no payout request, itch.io doesn't usually let you update the tax information, because it costs money and it might be out of date again before you qualify for a payout.

I was also unable to submit my tax information on the very last step.  Tried Edge and Chrome.  Final button just does nothing.

That happens when there's a block you didn't check, or missing info that you probably skipped because you didn't think it was relevant. The final button stays greyed out until the form is complete.
