"collected by itch.io, paid later" option disabled

Hi,

I created an itch.io account about 8 years ago, where I regularly post games, mostly for free. I only got a 2$ payment, plus a fraudulent payment 3 years ago which was cancelled.

I want to put one of my games (not free) in a paid bundle. However, I need for that to check the option "collected by itch.io, paid later" - but it is disabled on my account.

I have sent 2 emails in 8 days to the support, I didn't get any answer (ticket #353823)

I have read the pinned post saying that payouts issues should be sent through itch.io payout page, but I don't see anywhere a link or an address to send the issue.

What can I do?

Thanks!

Did you fill out the tax interview?

Yes, 7 years ago :

Those tax interviews typically hold 3 years, if I read correctly in other threads. And it might be that this is never really validated, if you never request a payout.

That's the date you first filled it out, and even though you have to refill it every three years, it's only an issue when you request a withdrawal, so it shouldn't affect the options.

The only thing I can think of is either an error when he configured "direct to you" or that Itch somehow disabled the option. In either case, he'll have to wait for a response from the staff.

It does not update the date displayed there? Since you asked for the interview as a possible cause, I thought it worth mentioning that those do not last forever. I have bad memories about angry people that did not realize that. Also Itch does or did a bad job of showing this error.

In my personal experience:

I had to redo the interview because it was over 3 years old, and I can confirm that in that field, it shows me the original date I first took the interview, not the date I had to redo it.

I never had any problems participating in a bundle, although I've always had the "collect by itch" option.

The first time I had the problem of needing to redo the interview, there were no changes on the page. I requested a withdrawal without any issues, and about two weeks later I received an email from the staff indicating that my interview was over 3 years old and I had to complete it again.

That's why I doubt the page blocks the "collect by itch" option because of the age of your interview. I think the staff only notices this problem manually when you request a withdrawal.

My only guess is that when there has been a fraudulent payment on my account (~4 years ago), itch.io flagged/blocked my account.

But I didn't get any notice from them, and I don't get any answer to my message, and the whole bundle thing has been waiting for me for 10 days now :/

Just to be sure.

You did try to activate the collected by Itch method and connected Paypal/Payoneer account and accepted terms of service and all that and it does not let you activate that method?

That you cannot check the box on the bundle is obvious. And you will only have that payout issue button, if you actually do have a payout which could have an issue.

The button is greyed, so I can't click on it (see below).

I have a PayPal account connected, and have checked everything I could. I also have already bought a few games with my credit card along time.

I requested about 3 years ago a withdrawal because my balance reached ~50$, but then the payments were considered as fraudulent so it went back at 2$, below the 5$ threshold.

Hi,

is it possible to let the admins know about the ticket? ( @notimetoplay maybe?)

The bundle admins have been waiting for 10 days now for the answer to release the bundle which includes one of my games and I don't know what to tell them.
