How does your game fit the theme?
It's a choices-clicker like Oregon Trail sort of where your resources wildly go up and down, and your people you're escorting tend to have at least 1 person die almost no matter what you pick, you try to keep at least some alive to the end.
Devlog Challenge?
Easter Egg Challenge?
Game Engine?
Game Engine / Tools (Other)?
JavaScript Phaser and Rosebud AI for game prototyping
Self-made & used stuff?

Roughly how much time did you spend developing? (in hours)

I usually do put my own music tracks from being more a musician than a programmer but it's decreasing as i make more games now in the last year or so

Neat idea! I like the marginalia and theming the events to fit. I think they got a bit out of sync though โ After a while, the event descriptions stopped matching the images I was seeing.
Yeah a bunch of my things are prototypical.
It's standard for me as a creator both in music and in the games now that i do games, to kind of thought-provoke and a situation where only like the top 5% of my output is what we would call airtight enough to be professional.
Like i think Valve corporation would chew me out if i didn't run my code through some people where i had to pay some money to real non-AI programmers to Vet my code, before i could plunk down $100 and be on Steam the first time.
Which will be a fun rite-of-passage maybe in a year :)
Glad you gave it a chance!

I know you've already addressed it, but yeah I also had the issue with the third option being cut off on the web build.
I had some options pop up many times, so I think in the future perhaps make it so if an event shows up in a playthrough to make sure it no longer comes back in the same playthrough, to keep things from feeling repetitive. I also noticed seeing "char" and then a number quite a few times, so just try to watch out for bugs like that.
I enjoy the general premise of the game, Oregon trail type games are quite fun and I think with more polish this could be an extremely satisfying experience as well.
it -was- made in haste and people are totally right :)

In my games and also in my music i've decided it's more economical to thought-provoke than sink too much into polish unless someday i think i'm going to make as much as my day-job at it or something.
like in music i'm not ever making Elton John bucks
Glad you gave it a try though.

It seems in the story there are missing pieces? like "char of 57" and the likes in the text/story. The choices also looped, it should not be a problem but the game is quite long so the story is way too repetitive. Since this is a jam, it should be simple and captivating. also it seems that my resource always go overboard and since the event are repetitive i know which option gives the best results. Overall nice job!
Every criticism here is super accurate. Working games in this way one gets kind of dragged along by the AI and we fight as best we can but time is limited lol :)
Glad you gave it a try!
So farrr......I am a stronger musician than a game maker.

Okay the plot is interesting, the game also have a lot of gameplay I think. It needs some polish and a slighty better UI and this game would be excellent. Good job!
Also, when you have 3 choices the last one is hard to read.
Yeah reports are coming in on the UI flaw :)
Glad you have it a try. Gave you an itch follow.

I love the concept you are going for a LOT. Interactive logic choice adventures with immediate feedback on the consequences are very fun!
This particular entry feels like a little more polish and UI/UX evolution would go a long way. Here are a few suggestions for the improvement:
1. On the itch page, don't have the banner be the same as the title screen (I thought it was the game frame and was puzzled why I couldn't click the button)
2. The third choice is unreadable (below the screen bottom)
3. It wasn't clear that "Keep them moving" is a button, so I had to hunt for a bit to find it
4. The core loop is a little bit long for a jam game. The progress bar is helpful for tracking, but it might be nice to change pace somewhere and have the player change what they are doing in between sequences.
I think this is correct on all points.
Glad you gave it a try!

The plot is different and unexpected, but you must adapt to the bizarre rules of this strange world... Sometimes i had problems understanding the logic behind the results, but overall I enjoyed the experience.
A note (I don't know if you can see the attached picture): when you have 3 choices the last one is basically unreadable so you cannot really use it.
Important bug report, Bit Bet! thanks.
Yeah i submitted early because I felt like if i meddled too hard on it, I would make an already busy game, overly busy.
Glad you gave it a shot!
