Which theme(s) did your game incorporate, and how?
The theme of the jam was 'Everything Has a Cost' or 'Pig,' and I incorporated it into Truffle Tycoon by making players run a truffle farm as a pig. Players dig for truffles, sell them in the barn, and use the profits to buy a Gun for their Life, Hinting that life itself has a cost in the Game.

Did you use any pre-made assets? If so, what were they and where were they from?
Yes, I used a few pre-made assets due to time constraints. The barn and fence models are from GameDev Starter Kit - Farming [Free Edition], and the background music was sourced from Pixabay. All other assets and game mechanics were created by me

To echo what others have said, the control scheme is a pretty unique choice which is not intuitive for most folks, myself included. The terrain deformation worked well, but I was having trouble picking up the truffles I unearthed. The bones are there, it just needs some more loving. Great work for only a day of development!

Fun idea! For the short dev time getting in the dynamic digging mechanic is impressive! Like other commenters have said definitely could use some quality of life fixes like controls local to camera, not being able to dig right down and get yourself stuck, maybe a visual indication of where truffles are. Good job on this overall!

I really like the gameplay loop, but the controls could use some work. I think having a static camera, or having W always move you towards where you're facing would have improved it. Good job regardless

Hey, your concept and game are absolutely perfect! By combining those elements, you’ve created a fantastic loop to play. I was thinking, if you could use the camera as a separate object and attach a skeleton hand (like a holder) to it instead of connecting the camera directly to the pig’s movement, that might solve the issue easily. Anyway, great game! Also, please don’t worry about my advice—I’m a beginner in Godot, so I’m just sharing some basic stuff. Even I struggle a lot with coding! Also, I noticed you’re a student, so I’d love to collaborate on art and UI element creation for future projects if you’re interested. Just let me know! Because here you have a perfect concept :)

Ik rn this game is kind of janky but i made it just for fun.  I would really like to work on a project with you. Viewing all your project i see a marvellous artwork might contact you for UI for my survival game.

Great game I loved the concept but I will admit wasn't exactly my cup of tea, but I saw a the vision. Tweak the controls a bit and it could be top tier. Check my game out if u can would really appreciate it

Loved your concept but I had trouble navigating.  I was able to get some truffles but couldn't make it back after that.

the movement was really janky i was trying to press "W' to go forward but ended up going backwards. The music was fine. the gameplay was however lackluster i don't understand the premise of the ghouls that wonder above you while i dig myself into a crater and can't hop out. umm other than that it was ok

Sorry but the game gave me a headache because of how you have to control the pig. Movement gets me nauseous in games if it's too clunky.

However based on  the description I think the game has some really cool concepts. I'd like to see this developed further. If you want.

Feel free to play my game too if you can. I'd appreciate it a lot.

Really fun concept for a game! You found a great way to combine both themes!

I found the controls a little wonky, but after a minute or two I got used to the movement.

Fun little game!
