Really interesting mechanic I have never seen before. Great theme of having a laser pointer and a cat. Impressive!

Cute game. I like it

Great concept! Who doesn't like watching a cat chase a laser pointer. I can only use the web version, so the controls were a little out of control :)

Nice art and presentation!

This was super fun, I kept retrying until i finally finished it. The idea of using an overpowered laser pointer to play with the cat is hilarious and worked very well. I would've loved to see the other levels you had planned, because the mech feels strong enough to carry more content. Really fun concept and great execution. Very charming music to go with it.

This is just my 2nd game jam, both with Unity. Curious what made you move away from it? Is that just for jams, or more generally?

honestly it isn't a bad engine, but the process turned out to be slower compared to godot so i decided i shouldn't be using this for short jams lol

Okay, I was thinking it could be. I have a buddy who switched to Godot permanently due to it being much quicker than Unity.

Interesting control concept! I like it because the dual action of pulling and pushing adds a little bit of strategy - the player can't just knock things in the direction they want like golf, they need to think about how their cursor will influence the current position of the cat to a new position, and then push it out from there. It's a little unorthodox but makes it a bit more unique. I think having a par on top of a limited meter adds much more challenge, but also makes it a little more compelling than, say, just counting the number of hits and giving you a pat on the back. The simple and cutesy art style works quite well too. Congrats on making something solo in Unity too, although it sounds like it was a bit of a pain!

I had trouble understanding the mechanics at first, but once I did, everything went smoothly. I liked the game.

Was very confused at first but once it clicked it was interesting! I wonder if there could be clearer instruction as to how the mechanic works, or perhaps some kind of a visual representation or hint as to what the physics will do? I'm imagining like how other golf games do it or angry birds or something? Cute cat graphics and vibe

Took me a couple of levels to understand the push when you release the mouse but once I got that it was so fun! Really great entry
