This game is super fun! The physics and the controls feel really tight, and really like how you expanded on the sine waves as the levels progressed! Good job!

This game is really fun to play! I died countless times, but I really appreciate that you give access to all the levels even if we don’t finish one. For the next version, adding checkpoints would be amazing for noobs like me!
The physics feel great, and the wave and arrow mechanics are especially fun to play with.
Great game!

Very nice take on the theme!

Quite challenging, but very fun. Love the graphics and mechanics.

Nice job! I can really use some checkpoints.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback, and agreed that checkpoints would help. I'll remember that for the next game!

This one is great. Weirdly it reminded me of Happy Wheels with the physics-based platforming (v complimentary). The last level is evil, but I just about managed to get it on my very last try.

I genuinely really dig the 3d-effect on the waves coupled with the smooth tunes in the background. Gives it almost a hypnotic quality. Those two components are pretty contrasting to the rest of the aesthetic (the fish-returning to the ocean theme), but to be honest, I think I prefer the hypnotic element of this game to the cute fishy element. That's 100% just a subjective opinion though.

Great job dev, loved it.

Thank you so much! I'm glad you were able to complete all the levels, that actually means a lot to us.

Great feedback on the aesthetic. Thinking about it a bit more, I agree with you that leaning into the more flow-y nature of the movement could have been a better fit for the mechanics. I have a soft spot for the ending my dev partner came up with, though :)

I actually liked this game so much I went back and played it all again (including the last level 😂). I do agree, the ending is very funny and delightful :)

Haha very unique mechanic! Was a challenging game, even the second jump was hard to get past. Nice job! Glad to see other platformers as well!

Thank you! Hopefully the deaths gave you a laugh even though the levels can be a bit brutal.

I definitely have not seen a mechanic like this before, so I would say it is pretty original. Quite hard though and it takes a while to learn how to play with the waves.

Developer

Thanks! Agree that the difficulty is high. If we had more time, we'd probably have 3-4 more levels that introduce the concepts and checkpoints. But I was happy we got it done in time!

Its a pretty original idea, i love the literal waves ingameplay, seems like a very handy resource
