How does your game fit the theme?
You have to throw a party, but you can only use ONE ROOM... physically and literally.
Devlog
Easter Egg Challenge
Easter Eggs
10% chance of someone from the left side of the room to get a "check the other room" mood (it will be a sneaking purple chubby stickman).
You can interact with him to ignore the event, which is expected. Or you can just let it open the door and... well, go too far.

Yo the music and the concept are fire
Thank you for playing! Glad you liked it!
General:
This game is really well done graphically! It looks professional, and the layout of the room is also well designed. At times I had some trouble navigating when the room got fuller; maybe you could make it easier for the player by letting the characters move aside a bit more smoothly. I liked the idea of having to complete different tasks, but from a gameplay perspective I would have wished for a bit more variety (QTEs, resource management, etc.) — as it is now, it’s always: go to the spot and click. Still, thanks to its presentation, I really enjoyed the game and ended up playing it for quite a while! :)
I would have loved to have a leaderboard — by the end I had a pretty full party. :D
In the options menu and in the tutorial, the buttons don’t seem to work via mouse click. It’s not a big issue, but maybe something you’ll want to fix later. There’s also a typo in the tutorial: “someone WANTS to talk.”
Graphics:
The graphics look good and have a distinctive style. The chosen font and colors are well selected, and the AI art blends in nicely and fits the theme. However, the hover effect on the buttons in the intro doesn’t seem to work as intended (tested on EDGE). The short animation in the main menu is well done and immediately motivates you to start playing!
Music / Sound:
As a composer, I noticed quite quickly that it’s AI-generated, but the music sounds catchy and follows common party music patterns. The instrumental version during the track gives off party vibes, and the sound effects (e.g., the booing when the hype drops) are fitting and support the player feedback well.
Theme:
The theme is well met!
Conclusion:
A party simulation with great presentation — the graphics in particular stand out in a positive way!
Thank you for playing!
On the visuals, I can only call dibs for my team in the color scheme and icons. The rest is asset and AI, but I'm glad it is fitting the theme.
The idea of the room getting fuller and the game getting harder was planned, it was the main idea from the start. There is also a small detail in the code that you can push people a maximum of N distance from their "destination point" as well, that adds to the difficulty in maneuvering.
We lacked gameplay variety, yes, but that was due to scheduling issues. We had to cut stuff.
Noted on the leaderboard, might add in later games. And the menu issue, noted too late to fix in time... it was not just for you.
On the music, yes, AI. We can manage visuals, but we fail on audio. Glad to see we also made a nice choice. The prompt said something like "90's house parties" and "Britney Spears" rofl
Fun game but when the crowds keep growing, the game became harder and a bit hard to move around, , love the upbeat music and blocky art XD. There's also a bit problem on the settings, when i entered the settings and readjust the volume, i can't exit from the settings view, the drinks also doesn't have any identification where to grab them, i was lucky because i just spam the interact button on any object in the room XD. Other than that, a good and fun game, well done!
Thank you for playing!
That's the idea, having less room in your one room the more people come to the party. Glad to see it gets harder because of that.
The settings issue was noted, and we fixed that before posting. Will check on that.
The drinks are in the fridge, bottom right corner of the screen! Glad you found that, though.
Goodness, what a perfect use of the One Room theme! This is such a charming little management game.
It might benefit from some kind of progress bar on each task you're performing and/or the ability to cancel a task you've started. The hype level could also die a little faster, at least in the early game. Seemed like it was going to take a long playthrough to get to a point where it was a threat.
Also, I never figured out where to get drinks from? Maybe I just didn't see it.
Fantastic entry!
Thank you for playing!
Since the downtime for actions is low, around 3 seconds (save for the parents, which is 6), we felt no need to show a timer. Good to know dome people think it is needed anyway.
The hype falls when you miss the door or a request. The more people in, the faster it falls.
Drinks are in the mini fridge in the bottom right corner near the counter ;)
Nice concept which fit the theme and implemented well. The vibe was really good with the music and the models used. The gameplay was fun but i kept getting the 'talking' request quite often - was it random? if so, you could maybe put some sort of a check to ensure that there is a variety in the requests.. There were some other requests which i got like asking for time from parents and changing the TV which was cool. I think the gameplay could benefit from a bit more variety in requests and how the requests are handled also - for example - can you kick out guests if they are spoiling the party vibe? Also a bit more feedback on completing actions like little sound effects or particle effects could add to the polish. Overall well done, this was a good entry :)
Thank you for playing!
It was random, yes... 30% chat, 20% TV, laptop or beverage, 10% sneak to the other room (turns to chat if on the right side). Parents and door were on their own timer.
We cut the hoonigans interaction due to scoping and scheduling issues, but qe had plans for it. Nice to know it would be well accepted.
And yes, more feedback. Noted.
the game was really exiting at first, the music fit so well now i see it is because it is all generated, and the art style for the people was also really nice. i liked the concept of the game and the fact that you need to actively ask your parents for time. my main issue with the game is that after few minutes it feels more of the same. you go to the task you wait and then go to next one. you cant get better at tasks and then do them faster. it turns into somewhat of a walking simulator. cool additions could be maybe some minigames as tasks and maybe tasks who are specific to some type of people.
Thank you for playing!
We planned for more interactions but had to cut it out due to scheduling problems.
The game gets harder as you let more people in, because you can only push them up to a certain distance from their allocated "target spot". With many people around, you would have to get creative with the walking.
Let's start with the presentation- the graphics style was cool, and it fit the style of the game! Only issue was a weird shadow behind the couch (might be a web build issue?).
The sound effects are few, but work as intended (although I wouldn't mind a sound , when someone request something!). The background music really worked! It's super catchy, and really sells the party mood.
The gameplay was fun, but some more variety would be cool. Maybe a tiny minigame, when you interact with different items?
I don't know if I found the easter egg. A guy moved to the second room, but then my parents told me we went too far... was that it?
I had some fun, and the game looks really cool. It could use a bit of polish, and variety, but over all it's a really good game! Keep it up!
Thank you for playing!
Yes, that strange shadow behind the couch is a web build issue... usually happens when exporting 3D Godot to web.
Audio feedback when a new request arises... yup, totally my bad on that.
We had scheduling problems which resulted in a reduced scope... we planned for at least 3 more kinds of interactions.
On the Easter Egg, yes, that was it. Maybe I could invite you to try going too far as well? (this will link to another game of mine)
Seem the only thing I can do is let people in
Thank you for playing!
After letting people in, a timer for each of them starts for them to start requesting. Might take a few seconds.
