What's stopping you from wearing both a skirt and pants at the same time? Idk maybe I like the character's layered clothing too much...

In Step One, Charles really loves the forest. He goes there and walks there often. In Step Two, he still prefers the forest, but he also finds the city quite interesting. 

Oo nice wip! Can't wait to see the finished art! As for the skirt or pants question, I vote for skirt! Skirts are always cute after all. 

Now to answer the MC question, Izzy prefers the town! There are a lot more things that you can do and see at the town than at a forest according to her. 

Think about this: half pants-half skirt, hehe. In all seriousness, a long skirt would do for autumn environment if Mykae is feeling skirt today. 

Answer to QOTD: Step one!Timothy thinks they're both cool, nothing really makes a difference to him and just more places to play and wander. In outsider's perspective, it's a bit funny when Timmy appeared from the bush to get into the town, spooking some bystanders (and Darren was one of them).

Amilia defently prefer the forse bc she feel saife in it and it was qwet... And Like to Play with the leafs but at step 2 she don't mind the town much she end up liking Both at step 3 i tink hehe

Sahil kinda disliked both in step 1. he found the town too busy (even though its a small town) and it made him nervous so he avoided it and only really liked the bookstore. On the other hand, he found the forest kinda cool but nature tends to give him sensory issues and bug bites so he doesnt like touching stuff in there. The forest was a lot closer to his house, and Tamarack tends to do stuff there. So he spends more time in the forest and just wears full sleeves, long pants and a scarfs at all times even in the summer to have full protection.

Step 2 he's more confident and learned how to deal with his sensory issues better so hes a lot more fond of both the town and forest.

Dot loves both the forest and town. The forest is quiet when she wants to be alone- or with close friends, and the town has enough to do when she needs to occupy herself with something.

Shù doesn't really mind, but they would probably prefer the forest more- despite being afraid- because at least they don't have to deal with trying to talk to people

Cran likes the forest more, he- whenever he gets mischievous bouts- sometimes harvests wild clay and makes them usable for his projects. The town is too loud for Cran to actually relax

Fran loves the city because that's where they get to entertain. They feel very fulfilled whenever their acts gets a crowd. They don't like the forest because they feel like they'd get lost without landmarks.

 Ari hates both, but if he has to choose one he doesn't hate as much, it would be the forest, he lived in a tourist-y town near the ocean, so he's never had the 'stillness' the forest gives.

Hee-Jin is a city girl, she can't get down with the thought of getting dirty, so she likes the town more. However, she loves taking inspo from the forest and Tamarack.

Phya doesn't mind which place, but they're more attracted to the town because that's where people are at and humans are more likely to interact and without obstructions than in the forest.

i think pants would fit better but go with what you desire!!

for the question, noel will ALWAYS prefer the town over the forest. the bugs, the itchy grass and not knowing what lies ahead of the walking paths is too much for them. they think the forest is an icky place. but even with all this hatred, they have managed to tolerate it just for the sake of the others, especially for the queen of the forest, tamarack! 

over the years though, they have gradually grown to appreciate the beauty of nature but no cool tall trees could ever compare the the endless aisles of the corner shop or a sweet walk in the town
