Dot's last name was supposed to my my og first name, but due to some reasons, my parents changed it! But I also use Soli, Zoul, and Ion as Dot's alternative last names when I'm playing games that are based in the same universe or when I'm playing multiple timelines :>

Shù's last name is because Herbst is German for Autumn.

Cran's was supposed to be a joke, y'know? 'Cran Berry'

The rest of them were mainly random

Thank you! :3 this is more of my digital art-style with the lasso, it's a little bit wonky and of course I'm still evolving how I do it since I usually draw traditionally, and trying to replicate how I do it on paper to screen without any guide feels awkward, so I have 2 types of digital art styles I suppose? One is a digitalized version and the other is digital original. Sorry I'm rambling, I'm a little sleepy -v-

Hello, hello, time for my- uh- sporadic posting schedule! (There is no schedule) [also, I made the drawings for all of my Mcs at once, but I was too lazy to post all their stories all at once, so you can see that I was- uh... more or less motivated in making Hee-Jin and Phya]

Here's Hee-Jin 'Moonie' Yoon!

She's Wasian 50/50 Irish and Korean, Opal is fully Korean in this route and Hee-Jin doesn't really look like her. It causes a little (*cough* lot *cough*) of self-consciousness... she stays using she/her pronouns throughout.

Hee-Jin, in step 1, is a diva and a girls-girl, she doesn't outright dislike guys, but it's easier to make her dislike you if you 'discriminate' against people who are girls. She had a big group of friends befire she moved, she's still in touch with them.

She doesn't like it when people confuse her as an adopted child of Opal because of how different they look from eachother. She always notices how people look at her when she introduces herself. She always has to explain that, no she's not a koreaboo, she really is Korean, just white-passing. It annoys her heavily that she has to explain every time.

Step 2 is where she becomes a 'reserved, proper lady' and is less insecure about looking different from Opal, and stopped with straightening her hair (she has Irish curls). She's in denial about crushing on Qiu. She's about as popular as Qiu as well, so she doesn't have to explain herself of her name, she doesn't mind them and runs herself exhausted with being there for everyone.

She's teamworking for both Qiu and Tamarack, unassuming and accepting for Qiu, Praising and admiring for Tamarack.

I wanted to make a different Qiu romance route that isn't my main Mc, so he's Hee-Jin! Although I don't think she'll end up with them at the end? I feel like if it was a storyline, then it would be 'a love that was never meant to be' type of situation.

Omg, they're bald! They're bald and they're torturing people who have hair!

I can't be mean or tease Tamarack too much- I see myself in her so much- QwQ

Qiu on the other hand tho- I love teasing the hell out of them, it's so fun :3

Ooo, I wonder what everybody got?

I managed to get Qiu and Tamarack getting the other teacher for my normal Dot route and Qiu and Tamarack with Mr. Murray during the 'drifted' Dot route

Shu managed to be alone for both class and lockers (poor Shu)

I choked on my saliva- this is hilarious

I- I just realized you can put braces on the characters- but I already completed Dot's route (I had braces in Freshman year) so- I just- Excuse me while I bash my head on the tar  and hope a car takes pitty on me ✌️😗

YEAHHHHH

YESSS

So close!!!

Okay 😔

Just realized I haven't eaten breakfast (it's 12:50pm rn •3•)

Damn they trying to silence you (¬Å¬)

Omg? So pretty? So elegant? What is this beauty?

I'm so ready :DDDD

Welp! Time to rip the bandaid off for the next character of mine!

Meet the saltiest of my Mcs, Arséne 'Ari' Desjardins!

He's a French boy, he stays using he/him throughout his life. He's normally brash and isn't afraid to say what's bothering him! Uh- but the way he places his words can be a bit rough (even for those with thick skins).

He lived in Marseille, France before coming to Golden Grove and the sudden change leaves him heavily annoyed. He does not care if you're older or younger, he'll outright says what he thinks of you- usually it's bad. He had a group of friends, but they got disconnected from the distance. He doesn't really mind though, never close to begin with.

Step 2 is where his sulky-ness mellows out, he's a lot more passive aggressive, though,  it doesn't mean he hasn't thrown hands. He still misses Marseille and gets horrified whenever he pronounces things with an American accent. He's somehow naturally charismatic but also unintentionally picks on people? Struggles in most subjects in school except computer science. He also has a habit of insulting people in French.

He's contesting, unassuming, and accepting of both Qiu and Tamarack.

Initially, he was going to be less straightforward mean and more like 'oh he doesn't mean to be mean! Oh wait- no he is.'-type of mean, but I had too much fun making him be a brat straight up

I was looking back at my gallery on my phone and then I remembered that I had this- I'm so happy with it. (Don't mind the terrible lighting)

Lol, just some of my Mc's, Cran and Fran are already up while Hee-Jin and some other lil' guys still need their intro

I'll do it with the characters that do have nicknames for them.

Cran: Q and Tee

Fran: Mx. Popular and Tic-Tac

Hee-Jin: Blue jay (Or just Blue, specifically just because of his hoodie) and Tam-Tam

Tamarack is too relatable to not be my favorite

Dot: Strawberries, mulberries and, specifically, candy heart grapes

Shù: Starfruit and lychee

Cran: Cranberries and bananas

Fran: Lemons and limes

Ari: Kiwis

Hee-Jin: Cherries and tangerines

Phya: Apples and pears

Dot is well known, sometimes plays with the other kids, it's a so-so situation in step 1. Step 2 is where she knows people, but isn't in any particular group, she's more or less in the background.

Shù gets the weird kid title in step 1 and 2, people don't like that she doesn't talk, he still only has Qiu and Tamarack as friends, and those two are pretty much the only kids in the school that knows the reason why they're so quiet

Cran gets avoided a lot during step 1, kids think he's intimidating, but in step 2, he manages to get a major boost in popularity, much to his confusion. He had at least one confession from between step 1 and 2

Fran was a popular kid in step 1, step 2 they're infamous and is met with glares by pretty much everybody. They think it's hilarious on the switch-up and isn't bothered in the least.

Ari shoos everyone away, so nobody liked him in step 1, but in step 2, he's quite popular, oddly charismatic whenever he's not being rude. He mainly gets dragged around by that certain group of boys who always have sports on the mind. (He hates it)

Hee-jin is well known, but kept to herself, so people admire her from a distance, in step 2, getting out of her bubble, she's surrounded by a group of admirers.

Phya is deemed the teacher's pet, the mature part of Phya understands why kids don't like teacher's pets but the 10-year-old side of him is heartbroken that they don't want to play with him. In step 2 it's status as the 'teacher's pet' is still there, but it doesn't care much about the opinion of others.

By dump I mean spread them out over a few days because I'm very nervous about spam posting as a chronic lurker ( ´Α`)

Welp, now that we're just waiting, I guess I'm gonna dump the rest of my guys? They- alongside the others- have been on the backburner for a while. (´ 3`)

This devious fella is Fran Silva! (In Step 1)

They're 90-99% Chilean, the one percents just a random thing, I think? They use he/him in step 1, later they have a preference for they/them (however, unlike Qiu, they don't mind if they get called by he/him or she/her, infact, it's really amusing to them on how they get perceived by other people).

Fran is as cheeky and mischievous as a 10 year-old can get, no active hostility though. They lived in Australia before moving to Golden Grove. Quite relieved to actually. Despite how popular they were, they also had a target on their back by some kids and got pinned down and those kids tried doing a crude job of trying to remove his birthmark, saying it'd make them look a lot prettier.

Opal was not happy and extremely worried when Fran came home with a gashed forehead, y'know as one parent does, and Fran came to hate his birthmark. If anything can break their mischievous persona, just bring up their birthmark and you'll meet a snappy Fran and a glare. He's best friends with Qiu in 1 and 2, and likes to tease them about how popular they stayed- unlike Fran, falling from popularity and is probably on many people's hit list (they think it's really funny that people are that pressed on their existence), and friends with Tamarack, trying to coax the inner-wildchild out again.

Step 2 Fran, who now gets the nickname 'Ace' because of how they're seemingly flawless at everything they do, is not much better than their 10-year-old self when it comes to mischief. Instead of just staying in one place this bastard (with love) reached their claws out onto the town. They don't mean for anything to last long, usually ending up with a silent apology of gifts or acts to help.

Fran is teasing, and doting for Tamarack and Qiu, but teamworking for Tamarack and contesting for Qiu.

Initially, I was going to have Fran be a lot more colder and be one of those kids that 'you could never get close to', intending them be my 'just neighbors' route dude but as actually played their route, I scrapped that idea and we have this fella.

Lol- the same way I bite into ice-cream, I guess I don't have sensitive teeth? And I was a very bite-y child so... like yehhh •w•

OMG? Another Burmese person o□o?

Apparently I fell asleep at, what, 11? and then woke up at 3 in the morning, -.-

Yep! But I don't think I posted it on tumblr? I'm barely posting stuff on there- I'm usually a lurker for- like everything :^

This is so corny- (also, since Dot's my main Oc for everything, I'm used to drawing her- so like, I'm getting used to drawing the others :>)

Apparently I'm becoming a bit more active? Uhh, I don't know if this has been asked, but what are your Mcs dream job? Do they end up with it or had it changed?

Dot's dream job is veterinary

Shu's is either wanted to be a florist or a plant breeder, she ends up having a library with a big garden.

Cran wanted to become an artist, then wanted to be a chef, ended up as a entomologist.

Fran said that they'll be a jester, ends up being a physician with a YouTube channel

Ari wanted to be a Marine biologist, he has an IT job

Hee-Jin wanted to be a fashion designer, she managed to be one.

Phya wanted to be an office worker, he became a writer and a professor

Oop- sorry for the late reply, blood sausages- at least how my family makes them- are a pig's intestine stuffed in blood and rice that's been soaking for a while- it gets boiled for a while until the blood has fully solidified! Lahpet thoke is specifically fermented (or pickled) tea leaves, it usually has nuts, sesame seeds, legumes, and fried onion chips! My favorite is when it gets paired with sliced tomatos, onion, and small dried shrimp. It's tangy and really, really good :D

So very happy that you like Shu :3

Fran's a very mischievous child, it doesn't get better with age, lol. They probably have the same amount of admirers as they do haters.

Lol, if she's willing to be related to a salty French boy, then maybe?

I love lollipops as well- they never did last long since I usually crush them :^

Yeah, Phya's a fun little what-if if there was a Ren DLC

Dot loves congee, blood sausages (specifically when it has rice- just the blood makes it too dry and the texture is too crumbly :p), and lahpet thoke (or tea leaf salad, a Burmese specialty), 'favorite' colors were pink, blue, and white now it's black and white- but really she doesn't have a favorite. She's crushing on Qiu

Shù loves hamburgers, they started liking the color white. He's crushing on Qiu and Tamarack.

Cran really likes peppered jerky, his favorite colors are silver and orange. He has a crush on Tamarack.

Fran loves lemon cake and fairybread, they love chartreuse. No crushes- jokes about having crushes though.

Ari likes ratatouille, favorite colors are blue and green. No crushes.

Hee-Jin loves dak-ttongjip and lollipops, cranberry is her favorite color, won't admit it, but she has a crush on Qiu

Phya will like anything that has fruit. He likes grey and red. Crushing on Ren in later steps.

Dot loves both the forest and town. The forest is quiet when she wants to be alone- or with close friends, and the town has enough to do when she needs to occupy herself with something.

Shù doesn't really mind, but they would probably prefer the forest more- despite being afraid- because at least they don't have to deal with trying to talk to people

Cran likes the forest more, he- whenever he gets mischievous bouts- sometimes harvests wild clay and makes them usable for his projects. The town is too loud for Cran to actually relax

Fran loves the city because that's where they get to entertain. They feel very fulfilled whenever their acts gets a crowd. They don't like the forest because they feel like they'd get lost without landmarks.

Ari hates both, but if he has to choose one he doesn't hate as much, it would be the forest, he lived in a tourist-y town near the ocean, so he's never had the 'stillness' the forest gives.

Hee-Jin is a city girl, she can't get down with the thought of getting dirty, so she likes the town more. However, she loves taking inspo from the forest and Tamarack.

Phya doesn't mind which place, but they're more attracted to the town because that's where people are at and humans are more likely to interact and without obstructions than in the forest.

Dot's main hobby is mostly drawing, but she dabbled in a lot of other hobbies writing, reading, crochet, knitting, sewing, paper folding, singing, playing in the mud, mostly art and academic related things because she's me and I'm lazy to do any physical activities. Step 1 is mostly drawing, writing and reading and she's very happy to show it off, step 2 is where she branches out, but most of her projects are unfinished and she mostly hides them because they're unfinished.

Shù mostly sews in step 1- usually small projects and Opal displays them throughout the house, but in step 2 they love gardening. She mostly prefers growing herbs and any 'string of ---'. His room is probably full of pots full of those plants because they keep propagating them.

Cran wants to get into smithing when he's older, but step 1 is mostly clay works and building stuff- Opal has to deal with at least 5 birdhouses in a month, and in step 2 is baking, cooking, and playing the flute is his main thing. I think he likes to tango as well, he thinks it's really cool.

Fran is one of those kids who likes the make those 'potions', playing detective with the dolls they have, and loves learning about torture methods for said playing detective activity. Step 2 is mostly them ragebating, skateboarding, and some sort of artsy thing, they also gain the nickname 'Ace' with how much they're so good at, I feel like they're the kid that others are like "You're so annoying, why the hell are you so cool?"

Ari loves to swim, but is really stubborn about not being able to swim whenever he wants. Step 2 he gets into a lot of sports but he's also surprisingly good at computer science and whittling. He is very private about his whittling projects and gets embarrassed if you ever praise them.

Hee-Jin loves looking at magazines and watching any type of drama, from real life to k-dramas to telenovelas to books. Step 2 is where she's more into trends and stuff like that, so she has a passion for dressing up nicely and designs her own clothes- but she's not an artsy person though.

Phya loves people-watching, he thinks it's fascinating to see how people react, it also loves listening to murder cases in secret. Step 2 is him with collecting samples and studying them. It also loves collecting vintage figurines and board games.

Dot loves Opal very much. She'll try helping her as much as she can in step 1, but in step 2 things are a little bit more distant- Dot still loves her Ma, but she isn't so eager to help as she once was, only directly helping her out when asked. She was nervous but also excited for the move (fun fact: I also moved to a new area before 5th grade), she didn't like leaving her friends behind and the place that she knew, but she was also excited to see a new place. Dot settled down and found it to be a boring comfort.

Shù clings onto Opal, and they love her dearly. Opal is also a great person to hide behind whenever they're too overwhelmed. For moving, they were nervous since it's a new country and he was afraid of not making any friends because he doesn't speak, later on they like it due to familiarity.

Cran respects Opal and has some affection towards her, but that's as far as it goes. He doesn’t really go out of his way to bond with her and lets her drag him around when running errands. He didn't like moving because he was just starting to make friends, but he doesn't care about moving enough to say he hates it. Later, Golden Grove, especially in the town, is his favorite thing, I think he has a spot where he likes to hang out the most.

Fran thinks Opal is no fun, they doesn't hate her, it's just that it gets boring for them. They do have moments where they bond, but it's not really enough to have Fran be overly attached. Moving was a relief to Fran, they were popular, but an incident with some kids made them hate the place they were at. Golden Grove, in step 2, is their favorite place to 'terrorize' the people, but their terrorizing is mostly teasing the little kids and buying them sweets later, and playing harmless pranks on the elderly people.

Ari had a fine relationship with Opal, but after the move they resented her. Taking that, you can guess on how he felt on moving, he lived near the ocean- or at least a big body of water- and where he lived was a lot warmer and in a different country, so he didn't like the stark difference. He still doesn't like Golden Grove when he grew up.

Hee-Jin absolutely adores Opal and hates the fact that the only resemblance she has to her is both their eye colors are somewhat shades of red- and even that's a stretch for her. She didn't like moving because she wanted to stay with her friends, but it was something she couldn't avoid.

Phya feels affection towards Opal and worries about her taking care of a child as a single mother. He knows she's capable, but it does it's best to not cause a lot of trouble to pile on her plate. Moving  to Golden Grove was actually real fun for Phya, he'd always liked the fall, so moving into a fall town made it really giddy.

Dot would be very interested in them thinking they're cool and older, probably would follow them around like a duckling if Qiu or Tamarack isn't there. I think somewhat of Baxter's indulgent(?) behavior is the reason why Dot follows him, and because of Ren's aversion to girls- that's what made Dot follow Ren (Because I was a child that wanted to be everybody's friend). She wanted to join when Qiu offered but since Tamarack didn't, and she didn't want Tamarack to be odd one out, she refused, but then joins after the two bonding moments.

Shù does not like them because she's intimidated by them. They didn't want to refuse Qiu's offer, but the thought of having to be in a club with two strangers- older strangers nonetheless- scared him, a lot. Honestly, with how timid they are, I feel like Baxter and Ren would feel pity and a bit of annoyance with Shù.

Cran doesn't like Baxter because something about that boy doesn't sit right with him, he's a bit more iffy with Ren, he doesn't like the way Ren treats Tamarack, but he's chill with Ren, for the most part. He joins in the club because why not? There's not much else in a sleepy town.

Fran is iffy with Baxter because Baxter pointed out the birthmark on their forehead- the birthmark also has a scar over it and the origins is a sore subject- and with Ren, they're teasing the heck out of them to see the reactions. Fran is also in the boys' club, probably bonds with Baxter over ragebating other people. (Baxter feels like a person to ragebait)

Ari hates them- Baxter feels like 'rich boy 101' and Ren is too huffy for his taste (Look who's talking, Ari 😒). He's not in the club at all because why would he want to do something so childish? Very much saying it to their faces, and probably insults them in French.

Hee-Jin admires Baxter greatly because he's mature and rich (rich people facinate her like how some people are facinated with birds), heavily dislikes Ren because of the 'not liking girls' part of Ren's personality in Step 1. Naturally she doesn't join because of that and I think Ren and Hee-Jin have a rivalry and bicker- most of the time ending with 'Why am I even bothering arguing with a little kid?' From Ren.

Phya sees Baxter like a cat and that amuses him greatly, it would probably clock his crush on Qiu. He feels for Ren and probably herds Tamarack away to keep Ren comfortable, if the dynamics were set, Phya to Ren would be: Teamworking, Praising, and Doting. I think it does it's best to help Ren out if the group has to make contact with girls. He's in the boys club after the 1st bonding moment.

I'm going to use hex codes (and describe them in parenthesis if someone doesn't wanna put all that effort in that, understandable) because colors are kinda weird and 'specific color names' apparently has multiple shades :/ and I like being weirdly specific with colors

Dot's (And naturally me) 'favorite' colors were kinda F1C7DC (a pastel pink), 74E0E8 (Light blue? Or is it a teal?), and F5F5F5 (a grey that's basically white), now it's 180100 (black basically or just a really dark red that could be seen as black?) and FFFEFC (Like a cream white?).

Shù's favorite was 'whatever your favorite is', then they started liking white, pure blinding FFFFFF white

Cran's favorite is C0C0C0 (It’s  supposed to be a silver) and it carried on with another color: C63B04 (like, a burnt orange)

Fran's favorite is green, specifically chartreuse, but any chartreuse shade, they love chartreuse. They normally wear other greens because it doesn't come in that specific shade

Ari likes a 93EA6B (green like new fresh grass) and 4682B4 (kinda a steel blue) combo since those are the colors of his eyes.

Hee-Jin loves the color of 8E2A40 (cranberry) because she's a mama's girl and is disappointed that she doesn't look like her mom at all

Phya's favorites are 48494B (A dark grey) and D21404 (Like, the most basic red you can think of), the grey is specifically for appearances and red is the real favorite. It soon grew to genuinely like grey in step 2

Omg am I posing about the other characters that I said I'd talk about a month ago? Gasp. Anyways he's for Tamarack's romance route.

This is Kale 'Cran' Berry! (Step 1 specifically)

He's ~20% Greek and ~80% Jamaican. He's trans, FtM, from the very start of the game. He doesn’t tell anybody in the first step, but I think in the 2 Step, he tells them about it.

Cran is actually an awkward kid, but his awkward-ness paired with his 'stone cold face unintentionally gave him the title of 'nonchalant'. He was relieved to leave his old town of Phoenix, Arizona to get away from the heat, but he was also reluctant to part with the real friends he was finally making.

Because Cran has a cold-looking exterior, he doesn't make friends often and grew to learn not to expect to be friends right off the bat of first meeting. And when Qiu made the proclamation of being friends, he was reluctant because of how hard Qiu was trying to be so adult-like and a case of people pretending to be friends. He's a lot softer to Tamarack because she was more like an open book.

In step 2, he grows to learn to not be overly protective of himself and also when he changed his name from Kale to Cran. His favorite hobby is both baking and cooking for both Qiu and Tamarack, He specifically uses a cookbook that was made by his food-obsessed uncle (I'm still working on him, so he doesn't have a name yet).

He's teamworking for both Qiu and Tamarack. Unassuming and  Accepting to Qiu, Praising and Doting for Tamarack.

I named him Cran Berry as a jokey thing, initially just wanting 'Cran' to stay a nickname, and Kale was a placeholder name until I found something I liked for him, but it slowly dissolved into Cran being his name so... that's how I made up the story of him using Kale as a placeholder name. Also, he's oblivious to the fact that his nickname was a pun for 'Cranberry'.

My main one is crushing on Qiu and best friends with Tamarack, but I think I want to have her crush on Qiu later on, maybe in step 2? All I know is that I don't want her to immediately fall in love with Qiu.

Shù is crushing on both Qiu and Tamarack the first time they saw them, but at first the crush was more puppy love since they admired how confident the two were, later it became the real thing.

Cran is crushing on Tamarack and, at first, didn't like Qiu because he thought Qiu was trying too hard to be mature, but in step 2, Qiu and him are best friends.

Fran Silva is friends with both of them, but I think later on in step 2 that it's a situation where they're really close friends with Qiu and Tamarack to the point that others get confused that they're 'together'.

Ari doesn't like either Qiu or Tamarack, he's a bit more stubborn. He vehemently and openly dislikes both Qiu and Tamarack in step 1, but I'm planning on him being more passive aggressively 'friendly' in step 2.

Hee-Jin is also crushing on Qiu and best friends with Tamarack, but she has a clear favoritism with Tamarack. To be fair, I'm not sure if she's going to actually end up with Qiu at the end? Hee-Jin's still a work in progress. I don't want to make her route and my main's too similar.

Phya is friends with them and is crushing on Renee. If there was the DLC for Renee, then I think it would end up as a slow burn for the both of them, finally crushing at step 3 and getting together in 4.
