Baxman Baxter?! That is cute not gonna lie. I also added Izzy relationship chart down below<3. It took me quite awhile to finish lol. 

For step 1 I  feel that Baxter is definitely confused on what he is feeling and on how to treat Izzy and it wasn't until years passed that he finally understood his own emotions and that he actually likes her but felt that she deserves better than him. 

Hehe thank you<3! I was in the process of brainstorming on ways to make both Izzy and Baxter end up together which ended up with me getting sidetracked and making this short comic lol. And I get you! I'm also not ready for Step 1 epilogue angst  TwT. 

Yeah i have nothing much to say other than that Qiu and Tamarack arguing makes me sad and that Baxter actually cares in his own kinda  way. Also why is background so hard? I actually gave up trying to draw the background and just used some of the background cg from the game lol

Izzy would definitely be good friends with Blythe. She thinks that Blythe is a very sweet and loveable girl. I can see them hanging out and have girls talk and stuff. 

Dominic is someone that Izzy think has a very big heart. His sense of justice and how he helps others are very admireable. I can see that they would definitely be friends that help each other. 

Timothy is someone that Izzy is comfortable with. They would joke around together sometimes. She think that it's hilarious how he is still so expressive even when he doesn't talk much lol. 

Does chocolate strawberry count? Because Izzy like those lol

Yeah they're around 7-8 years old like in OLBA. I can't remember if Qiu is already friends with Baxter when he is 8 but if they were already friends and Qiu introduced Baxter to Izzy then yeah, she would absolutely still have a crush on him. 

Qiu's hair is fabulous no matter how old he is. It's normal to be jealous of it honestly lol

I wanted to draw a much younger Izzy and Qiu so i made this what if scenario where Opal and Izzy moved to Golden Grove much earlier than in the game and they were currently introducing themselves to the neighbourhood.

Both of them are honestly so adorable that I want to keep them in my pocket♡♡♡

Step 2 Qiu Rough Sketch

I've been dealing with art block recently and it sucks TwT. So to combat it, I decided to start by making a warm up sketch. So have this rough sketch of Step 2 Qiu that I made.

I know right?! I never expected my head canon to be canon coded. And yes I agree 100% that dog x cat tropes are PEAK. Since you politely asked, let me mind read on spoilers for Baxter content for a moment.... Got it! I had a feeling that GBPatch might release a merch of Baxter or Derek this year (not exactly content but hey it's something and I had a strong feeling about it!). Now, I don't know if it will come true but we can hope!

Fun fact about myself, i freaking love the hyperactive, loveable dog personality x the grumpy/aloof cat personality dynamic archetype. Imagine my surprise when i was reading Baxter wiki page that apparently if he were to be an animal, he would be a cat! After learning that fact, of course i had to draw Izzy and Baxter with cute animal ears and tails<3!

I already imagined them to have the cat x dog personality dynamic, so the fact that Baxter as a cat is canon made me so happy lol.

As a dog, Izzy would be a black and tan pomeranian dog while as a cat, i head canon that Baxter would probably be a black and white tuxedo cat.

I also learned  from the wiki that in an alternate universe, Baxter would be a vampire. Which means that the Halloween art that I made last year of Izzy dressing up as a witch and Baxter as a vampire is sorta canon now. Apparently, all of these info came from the GBPatch Patreon QnA which were then put into the wiki. Keep in mind that I didn't subscribe to the Patreon because my country exchange rate to the usd sucks which means i didn't have access to these information and i was literally shooting in the dark with my head canon before the wiki updated last December and this January. The fact that I was right two for two with my head canon that is now actually canon really blows my mind.

Am I actually a psychic when it comes to Baxter related stuff? (JK lol)
